I am already 2:30 min in the video. I suggest to only center the basepoint when needed. I mean. The pipe, elbow and T. Are really not usfull if you want to use several button that has a macro to instert the block with the correct vis-state. You won't be able to chain the blocks because the basepoint of the block is off.

Why not copy the same block and change the visibility instead of inserting it each time?

I have 20 years experience as an Autodesk consultant. This is creative, however I would not recommend building a library like this. This approach... ...overcomplicates design of the block. This makes it very difficult to adjust later. ...after placement, you will need to 2 more clicks to change visibility state (unless the default is what you wanted). It would have been simpler to insert the correct block the first time. ...every instance of the block will have the same name so counting items becomes more complicated. ...all block attributes will be the same even if they do not apply to the part you are using. ...dynamic block controls may not apply to some visibility states. FOR EXAMPLE: most engineers would want a radius or angle on the 'elbow' and that is not applicable to other visibility states. My general advice is that library components should only be 1 thing with changes to numbers (diameter, angle, length, etc.)
