In order to have a mostly perfect cast aluminium ball, make the sprue and riser holes on the side of the mould and pour in them, attaching them to the mould by a dug gate.

you can also do this using a microwave, put the original foil ball in and leave it in for 10 minutes, it'll melt the surface of it to smooth it out and make it more solid if you leave it for longer it melts the inside too which makes it a solid aluminum ball

Instructions: 1. Get foil 2. Make a large enough ball 3. If there’s parts that are falling off add a little tape 4 . Don’t hammer or sand just put it in your dryer with your clothes 5. Now sand it 6. Enjoy your perfect foil ball I just did one last week Fact: after you do step 4 you can’t add more foil to make it bigger. WARNING ⚠️ don’t use a washing machine instead use a dryer and it actually helps dry your clothes better! But it might take a few days 😊✅ Hope this helps! 🤞 👇💅✨

This guy used not just the foil because he would need several rolls to get this much. Not mentioning he fucking melted it making it no longer aluminum foil(surprise. I have worked with metal for years . My guess for hammering is to reduce oxygen exposure to reduce oxidation during the melt. Only a guess . Any other theories ?
