Sometimes all we need is a break from the water to improve... good progress.

Reminds me of when I stayed down at Los Barriles back in the day with the windsurfers from the Gorge in Oregon. I love how they take over the washout areas and camp for the winter months. Do you see many of them still? Not the windsurfers so much, but, the kite boarders and wing boarders? They seem to be everywhere when you are downwinding. Are those locals?

Yep, that's still how it is now days. 90% are Americans and Canadians camping out in their RVs here for the winter season. A large majority are from Oregon and Washington as well.

Looking good out there. I'm very jealous. The lakes are starting to freeze in my area so I haven't been on my board for 3 weeks now. I need to move. Are you looking for a roomate? Lol 😄

Looking great!! So much improvement! The footwork was great at about 3:30 in the video u were really making connections! The one thing I noticed is when u were on a bump and free gliding the paddling stopped.. that's where u want to continue light strokes so u can stay on that connection longer.. I was tired for u at the end with all that footwork and a bike ride u had to be cooked! 💪🤙

@@ethanhuffsup haha 🤣 no I remember those days! Then the ride stops and ur like.. oh man get back to the front of the board ha! another great tip that I can recall is when I couldn't move my feet the best I use to make up with leaning my body weight forward or backwards. It's amazing what one inch more forward or back can do or simple body leans.. especially on a bump. 🤙🏄

I weigh 64 kg at the moment and I am 1.70 m tall and I would like to buy a rigid board. I would like to do downwind, also have speed and then a race(but I will never do real racing) and if necessary also a minimum of stability to do touring or long distance sometimes if it is possible with such a race board. Do you have any suggestions?🙏🙏🙏

Great question. It depends on a variety of other factors as well such as your paddling experience, how stable you are on a board, where you paddle, etc. If you want a stable fast board I recommend finding a board that it 14ft x 28in wide that will also be great for touring on and down winding. If you want a smaller lighter board then I would look for a 12ft x 28in board. If you want to sacrifice some stability and trade it for more speed then look into getting an even narrower board. I hope that helps you out. 🤙
