You are the only producer that i found that actually understands "Progressive trance" all the other producers make the new age, big room music which i dislike, because it just hides a lot of the qualities of good music. I love the old 2000 progressive genres. Like "in search of sunrise 4" awww that stuff is the drug for me. :) You are amazing man, i just wanted to tell you that. and thx for the tutorial now i understand better how progressive trance goes. :)

Max, I can't say how many times I've watched this video since the moment you uploaded it. This vibes man... it really makes feel like I'm at Ibiza in 2005 listening to trance all day long. Just unreal how this video (a tutorial) has awaken such a nostalgic feeling about a world I've never ever been to. Every year I just wish this was a finished song I could hear 24/7. Congratulations Max, just wanted to make you know that somehow you managed to inspire me and make me happy.

SEE this proves that amazing things can be done with FL Studio!!! I've been using this program since the very first version of it and so many people would criticize me for choosing this over software like Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason or Ableton. Though for a while I did switch from FL Studio to some of the other DAWs I just listed, FL will always be a favorite of mine. If you know what you're doing and have some great VST plugins at your finger tips ...you truly can create amazing music. I actually used FL Studio to produce a song for a songwriting contest a few years ago and won the contest. :) Great work in this video!

all DAWs are the same. just depends on the workflow you like.... FL studio historically had less functionally than cubase/nuendo. Hence.

Just bought FL Producer and really appreciate this tutorial. Some thoughts: - I'm not about to spend $180 on that Fab Filter Pro-Q plug-in but I might get it in the future dependingly. - I did just buy the Monster Kicks Volume 1 from Octopus Sound. That was a good tip. - I notice the Master doesn't have Fruity Limiter by default so I removed it as well. - I don't see "TP Bass Lane" as an option but when I Google it it seems to be freeware from Tone Projects called Basslane. Installed. - "Spire" is $129 I'll keep it in mind for later as well. - I know how to play the piano but I am very, very much a beginner here. Thanks for your help.

Could you tell me what kind of samples you typically use for the drum and bass sounds while making trance music? I can't read what you click on right at the beginning of this video ...artificial (?)... kicks vol.1 (?) What do you think of the Freshly Squeezed Samples by Dave Parkinson? Is there any freeware you could also recommend for this?

How make the perfect Bassline for Progressive trance?
@damienholland81033 жыл бұрын
- 02:01 Gross Beat is $99 and the demo version doesn't have Prog as a preset. I tried shaping the graph to look the same, manually, but was unable to save it lol. I wonder if it'll make a big difference if I leave that out. I read the definition and found it interesting: "For those who are unfamiliar, means using the output of one track, such as a kick drum, to alter the compression on another track, such as a bassline. In simple terms, it's a way to set up your mix so that when one sound comes in, another one quiets down."

Lol apologies for not knowing who you are. Excellent tutorial mate I have to say. 👍 had a crack at fk studio a few years ago. Never had a proper understanding on how to use it to its full potential though. Everything i made sounded very poor! Lol Watching this makes me want to have another bash though I have to say. Max Braiman in all honesty max I don't think it was the software in this case.... I think it was me haha. I think it may of been fl 9 which I had, the producer edition. It was more a case of not knowing how to get the sound I wanted. Watching videos like your own though is giving me itchy fingers to install it again. That being said I'd need to upgrade my pc also. Great vids you got there though mate. Like what's been posted, us amateurs need a little help out there man! Haha
