This is exactly what I'm looking for! And btw, I could listen to her talk all day :)

Everything gets done days/weeks ahead. No emotion. No mistakes.. I did it for years.. It's a corporate way to save money & have jocks be on 10 different stations for the price of one. May as well have Alexa do it.

Depends on the station. Ibiza Live Radio do shows with DJs around the world, so every mix and playlist is curated, regardless if it's live or automated: radio.co/case-studies/ibiza-live-radio

For some it could be hard to maintain natural rhythm or flow when voicing intros and outros without the music reference. Would think some authentic entusiasme could get lost during the process when it's not possible to lean into the situation while speaking, or at least mix it manually. Just my take on it. Would be interesting to hear a complete show this way and how the music tracks gets mixed with the voice. The video is 6 years old when writing this so perhaps there's some AI involved in that process now? Thanks for sharing great content.

So is it just a way to prerecord phrases and then stick them on a playlist for later broadcast?
@Radiodotco7 жыл бұрын
Essentially yeah. It's for broadcasters that want to add things on the fly like breaking news or announcements without having to take over their show for a live update.

So these on-air jocks on SiriusXM use voice-tracking software and they are just providing their voice nothing else am I correct

Before praising it too much you need to know that making it sound good with cross fade is hard and often it ends up with a silent gap on air.

Will there be an option for Seque Editing? So the voicetrack fills the outro & Intro?
@Radiodotco6 жыл бұрын
There is an option to edit tracks using the track editor as demonstrated here: radio.co/blog/track-editor-cue-points-crossfades/

That doesn't answer the question.

Is there a way to record a voice track and adjust it over top the intro so the voice track will play over the music?

That cool love it. To bad it took me 6 years to find this 😊

Isn't it a bit misleading to the listeners to literally telling them that you are live and "here until 4" when in fact it's all canned. People still think the radio is live. Why not have it that way for real? I don't get it.
@Radiodotco5 жыл бұрын
True, but we're not always available for live shows. Using the voice tracker, easily record and schedule your shows to connect with listeners when you're not around - here's how: radio.co/blog/voice-tracking-radio-shows-sound-live

@@Radiodotco +Constantin Pläcking It is not easier for everyone, it doesn't always sound great, and it is surely not authentic. It just limits mistakes and allows one blab more (or connect as y'all like to call it) without being with the equipment. But the DJ or (host) won't be in the moment with the music or show. Additionally, if you have a real around the clock platform or station if something was really important, the DJ used to jump in live. Sadly, this took a lot of talent off the air in America and allowed less talented multi-culturalism types get gigs and most got paid a lot less.

Is it really necessary to say "a bit of" when referring to what you're playing next, I hate that phrase personally.

@Radiodotco6 жыл бұрын
Radio.co does not list radio stations like TuneIn or Streema to listen to radio shows. If you want a place where you can find and submit your own radio station then check out these directories: radio.co/blog/internet-radio-directories-submit-promote
