This is amazing ! awesome job however i wish to design my own plane. What are the chances of me doing something like this from scratch ? any estimates of the total costs to fully design and build this ? I have no engineering background but i know aircraft basics from KSP/sims also a bit of electrical knowledge (i fully built an FPV drone once but with instructions). In various simulators i did manage to create a logic for the VTOL but never in reality. I also know poly modeling.

cuando imprimas, despues si qioeres que dure, echale una capa de BARMIZ POLIURETANO o cualquier RESINA epoxica similar, esto evitara que se DEGRADE RAPIDAMENTE ( aprox al año si usas PLA) por oxidacion (aire) y hara las uniones de las capas MAS FUERTES, pues entre capa y capa, aveces no hay una adherencia perfecta, y se rellenaria con resina (hablo de los microporros en la superficie no de rellenar la pieza completa; quiza resista golpes como los del MIN 25:00)

Well done guys !!1 but u should have used a better fc (matek H743) and use ardupilot instead of inav... i have both myself and the speedybee can be a bit wonky at times.And with ardupilot/H743 you would have way more stable system,more cpu power and tuning possibillitys. At the end we also decided for Matek h743. We are super happy with INAV. Transfering the settings via .dif Files makes it easy to use for our customers.

Transfering the settings goes just as smooth with Ardupilot,even better imho! And its a way more mature software...but hey,as long as inav works its good to go i recon xD

Do you really need to go that far in composing for a model plane. I know for a race car you need that level of baking. But lots of people just 3D print or carve foam for large scale parts with a single layer of fiber glass. Obviously you’re making something that is high grade and mathematically perfect but, I see plenty of people making all sorts of things made of composite with simple molds without even a vacuum. Why are your requirements so intense? I get that they are for a reason but what is the reason?

I love what you have done, but as a previous owner of your other designs, i find that you have not given us a ready to fly model without investing a lot of time and effort to get it to fly. Why dont you allow us to download the assambly PDf so we may look at the complexity before we part with 138 Euros? Where is your support network, or forums? @@renerosentraeger yeah, the same one but with a bit more experience, like I mean when it comes to tracking fast moving things. If you go back you’ll notice every crash or movement wasn’t captured until it finished, could’ve been useful data to understand how things broke in case you missed or want to review it. It would also make for a better video but the video is already great especially with the idea and execution. Editing is great but the couple shots make it looks worse than it is. Again, don’t mean this in any “negative” way, just a thought which would make the videos much better for you and KZbin too
