Seal paper stickers between clear packing tape.

BeautyandtheStamper Also, if you add a sticker or image at the bottom of a mold like your last piece, usually pour a tiny bit of resin down first, then put the sticker in and slide it back and forth to remove air bubbles and it possibly floating to the top during curing. Yours looked like it turned out good unless resin didn’t make it under the sticker to seal it in. Sorry about your shot glass mold. That sucks. But love how they turned out. Another hint if you don’t know...if the mold surface is shiny, your piece will be. If it’s dull, your piece will look frosty. :)

Mica and glitter = Perfect mermaid color! Can you sand the black silicon off maybe? Does the clear always come out with a yellow tinted to it?

You need to spray the molds with mold release. Even if it’s silicone, mold release helps.

I went to your live class Saturday and when I went through zoom I waited a long time 30 - 40 minutes because it said wait your host will join you to the class soon or something like that. I missed a lot of your class; sorry. I finally figured out how to get in. Also, you may have already done it and I missed it, but if you could show us on a video what we will be making we could get the right kinds of paper and supplies. Some of my things were wrong especially my paper. Thanks anyway.

I'm pretty sure you can't drink from anything made from resin. You should be reading up on this before you do your projects. You need a disclaimer at the beginning of your video.

The Amazing Casting brand is FDA compliant and is the one I’ve been using, personally.

Resin is dissolved by alcohol. These will not be safe to consume liquid from. I have researched heaps of resins, and they tend to be FDA approved for dry food only.

@@covinaes4488 once it is cured it doesn't dissolve it as once its fully cured it is nothing more than a plastic theyre safe for cold liquids only not anything that's just been brewed such as coffee

Looks like they tore in the areas you used the torch only 🙄 try 91% alcohol instead to remove bubbles so you won't ruin any more molds in the future

They tell you that 91% alcohol can change a non toxic resin into a not food safe formula since isopropyl alcohol is highly poisonous

You have to be extremely careful using a torch on silicone molds. You’d be much better off using a heat gun so it doesn’t melt the molds

A heat gun will certainly melt silicone aswell a blow torch and heat gun melt if its held over for more than a few seconds
