For melee characters I like a rogue mercenary. She does AOE elemental damage to kill itches and ghosts. And she casts inner sight for attack rating. The cold one can turn fallen into ice cubes.

There's really no way around the fact the barbarian is single target, so I'm leaning towards the idea that is perfectly useless to engage normal monsters. You'll never be fast enough, period. So, level your howl scare the chaff and engage champions and leader packs only, it's the only way to play a barb without too much suffering Edit: and oh yeah don't be a masochist and go straight to hell, farm your nightmare dry of whatever it can give you

In general it's useless to engage normal monsters no matter what build you play. Farming nightmare is a good call.

Oh man I went on holiday to Estonia earlier this year. Absolutely loved it. Beautiful country and nice people. I always keep ubers in mind, but it's like I can do 3-4 video's or I can do ubers. If I get a good run for it though I'll go for it :)

what players count do you play on?

Depends on what the char can do. I usually start p8 up to the countess for the levels. Then I go by char strength up to lvl 25. After that I go p1 until I hit a level farm spot where I go as high as possible again

I've been feeling like an idiot for doing this build because it's so hard but somehow it's rewarding I don't know how, in fact it's very unfair how melee builds are done in this game I don't know if I hate it or if I love it because if it were Easy, I would probably ignore that, thanks for the tutorial, there's no way around it, you have to go one enemy at a time, congratulations, I really liked your style, hugs from Brazil

It's one of the hardest runs in the game. So no need to feel like an idiot it's just a hard run. Leveling up and getting more attack rating helps a ton. If you can get to lvl 85 with 10k ar things should be going a lot smoother. But still definitely take your time. Thank you! Hugs back from the Netherlands

Well done, my frenzy barb is at lvl 80, but hasn’t completed act 4. Need crushing blow. I used a new rune word for each act in hell, lawbringer is my favourite so far.

Awesome vids, I've never been able to beat the game on Hell without being carried, but I recently got D2R on sale for my PS and you got me inspired. Also if you're running out of ideas I wonder if Cold\Phys Druid is Hell viable (Tornado and Huricane) and also Bowazon mix of Fire/Cold arrows?

Thank you! I have literal years of ideas for runs but feel free to share if you have any ideas. I just add all the cool ideas to a giant list that I just chip away at. I actually have the bowazon recorded already. The tornado hurricane druid is probably the best druid build in the game, so yes it's viable haha. I should record that one sometime soon.

Looks like the weapons might have been in the wrong hands at one point post-Oath. Oath needs to be in the main hand (above the gloves) right hand of character to calculate attack speed correctly for frenzy. Edit: definitely hand the weapons incorrectly slotted and that was impacting your attack speed and a damage in a big way.

I love doing barb playthroughs, although I haven't done one since my first Resurrected playthrough. Farming hell countess for Hustle seems like a good idea nowdays. On my last barb playthrough I found Raven Frost and IK maul while farming countess, so that kinda settled stuff haha, but I stayed there until I could make Duress. That run I remember haven't dropping a usable mana leech item until nightmare, it was insane, even gambled all my gold on rings. Another time I dropped an eth Oath base colossus sword from a weapon rack on the way to countess, so I stayed until I could finish it. Took longer than I'd like to admit haha Another time I did berzerker with Headstriker + Rhyme shield, that later found a Ribcracker, which is like jackpot. Nowdays a prayer merc with Cure + Insight would be amazing on such build. Barb playthroughs are so memorable, I should go for one again :)

I rarely find mana leech items. I just spam mana pots. Raven and IK maul is insane though, both are great finds. I had to farm for oath in a run I still need to edit. It took me a lot longer than I would have guessed Ribcracker is the dream item for sure. I don't even know an item I would like to find over it. It's sooo good. Gl on your next run!

Tons of patience you have, i tried my first solo self found run with a frenzy and abandoned it mid nightmare being painfully slow. Now doing solo self found hardcore pala to ubers and i think it will take less time with the ubers...

Kudos on a successful Frenzy-barb run. I think though that you underplayed yourself quite heavily with spending a socket quest on the Vile Husk.

@@thenuclearrabbit Well, you can make easy bases for runewords from white elite weapons. Bases that you can farm from NM Terror Zones. Especially if you are lucky enough to get areas like Tamoe Highlands/Pits terrorized. Much easier than farming Hell Pits.

Ah like that. Yeah my original thought was that with the amp damage the weapon would easily be powerful enough. I remembered it being much stronger and just ended up wildly dissapointed with it

My strategy for weapons is to gamble and upgrade to exceptional. But you do need extra strength to equip.

use battle cry man. It gives you more hitting chance than the 10 AR\LVL that the hsarus boots gave you. And the damage reduction also helps a ton vs hard hitting enemies

About what you say about being burned and making things non alive. If you think about it your whole life is that exact thing, yoy are becoming non alive second after second, its just so "slow" we dont realise. But yeah, life is being burned to death, thats why is so epic.

I Play ssf and make a Crystal Sword witch 6 5 max damage juwels for lvl 3! 30 Damage at lvl 3 is insane

@@thenuclearrabbit i did extensive testing and research on dolls. On nightmare their max base explosion damage is around 200 (but the damage range is very wide because dolls life also varies a lot), so 400 with crit\amp and 800 with both. I'm sure you could tank one :)
