There was about an hour of footage for this video but I cut it down to 20 minutes because we had way too much banter back and forth but I still left some in 😅 Just for more information, we got the sand wax from California Candle Supply along with the dye jars and wick stickers. CDN 4 and 5 wicks were from Sixteen Seventeen. Strawberries and cream fragrance oil is from Candlescience, Fruit Loops fragrance oil is from The Flaming Candle. For a beginner is there a calculator somewhere that can be used when making candles that can help if you not sure and I never heard off a sand candle before so this different but how would you post them lol since it’s sand

I was so glad to see that you did a video with this wax. I purchased it a couple of months ago and was going to get to it sometime soon. I did like you idea with letting it be loose giving it that all natural look. The hot and cold throw was impacted with that setup but I'm curious if an additional percent of F/O would fix that. What do you think?

I just ean across this Wax Pearl stuff, was wondering how to add fragrance to dry wax ect, do you sell a lot of them? How does shipping thos work? I wonder if MICA powder would work in is this stuff 🤔🤔

This is the oddest wax I've ever seen, yet still so cool. I just know that my 12 y/o would love to work with this instead of the regular way. She hates waiting for the wax to melt and cool, and she definitely hates cure times.

No not at all! It actually burned so well in the first burn I was impressed 😅 but the HT just wasn’t there unfortunately!

Just a simpler math: 180×0.06=10g of fragrance, so 170g of wax 0.06=6%

My only concern with palm wax is that it is sustainably sourced. Palm is a major cause of deforestations. That said. My mind went immediately to a “Make your own” kid booth. How fun would that be??

I know what you mean! I don’t think I would choose palm wax for my candles as a business, but doing this was a fun experience! Also Honestly I don’t have the patience to work with color/dye so I have a lot of respect for makers that use color in their candles! 😅

Harvesting of palm wax has drastically changed thanks to The Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). Many suppliers only sell palm wax that has been ethically sourced.

Bummer the strawberries and cream fragrance is weak! UGH I just ordered a bottle a few days ago with high hopes. Hopefully it works ok in wax melts if not candles.

Oh please don’t take this as it’s a weak oil! I still plan on doing more testing in it with my regular combo of jars, wax and wicks! There could have been many factors that attributed to the weaker HT that didn’t have to do with the oil itself
