I've enjoyed each of the cards you made this week. They are beautiful in their simplicity, focusing on the sentiment. And you've really worked that stamp set. I've shared before that I'm a card maker not a memory keeper, yet get wonderful ideas from your projects/makes. The one thing that always bothers me while watching your videos is the limited amount of adhesive you use. My body twitches as I worry about things falling off. With today's video you finally used the amount and height of adhesive that I think is needed when making a project. (No twitching in sight!) My mind is always focused on getting my cards through the mail in one piece and without paying higher postage fees. Anyway, thank you, Jamie, for sharing your passion about Cards for Kindness. I have six cards that are in progress that I plan to donate. Guess I should use my SBCFest kits to make a few more.

Oh my gosh! I have inspired twitching!!! Ack!!! LOL. I'm so sorry. But it's kinda true...I am not heavy on adhesive. I hope today indeed did share a little bit about that. That's so funny. Thank you for sharing your insight. It is priceless to me. Thank you for watching too!!!

Thank you so much for this video, and to think I almost didn’t watch this--whaaat? That would have been a mistake. Anyway, I forget that I can make a simple card now and then and that’s just fine.

Nice cards. How do you create the flap on the second card you showed? Thanks.
@JamiePateАй бұрын
Hello, Deborah! That postage die is attached to the card base with a hinged piece of paper. Taking a scrap and trimming it to about 1 inch wide and then the length of the paper to be flapped, then score down the middle long ways. Attach one side of the folded line to the 'flap'. Then the other side to the card base. Let me know if you would like more clarification.
@deborahanne9793Ай бұрын
Thank you, that helps me to understand how to make it. So is the flap attached to a single layer of A2 size cardstock or a top folding card?
@JamiePateАй бұрын
@@deborahanne9793 The flap is attached to the card base which is A2. Yes.

Jamie, For the stitching on the one card, do you think using a white gel pen to make stitches would look okay? Any other suggestion appreciated. I have no sew machine.
@JamiePateАй бұрын
Oh yeah. For sure! And you don't have to have a sewing machine. If you have a stapler that could be cool too.
