Making Soap Labels on Cricut Maker Saves Time

See how to cut & score labels with and without a Cricut Maker. Making soap labels, both the old way and the new way. The Cricut Maker certainly saves time, especially since you can multitask while the labels are being scored and cut. I usually either continue to print more labels on my printer or label soap while the Cricut Maker is scoring and cutting the labels.

Thanks for the Video, What paper do you use to make sure it doesnt get Oily/dirty from the soap?

You are very welcome. I use Kraft Cardstock 65lb 8.5" x 11". I think the brand is Recollection, purchased at Michaels. I'm not sure what you mean by getting oily or dirty from the soap. I don't usually have that problem. Maybe that happens with thinner paper, not sure.

How do you print them and cut them without using the cut then print feature with cricut? I'm so lost with making labels with my cricut!! Help!!!

You use the same process in Canva. Make an outline of your label. May have to use lines, rectangles, etc. Save as a different file name. Make background transparent and put anchors using squares on the corners of the page. It's always best to print your labels as many to an letter size page as you can. Download as SVG file. I do use this program, but not for labels. I haven't tested this process on Canva, but I may do so when I get a chance. Will update you with more info when I do. Let me know how you make out.

Do you have to create each lable on the system first or it detects the form? All my labels are done with Online Labels actually so will I have to make all of them again?

Yes, you'll have to do the layout including your print. Outline the label in a separate file or layer.so you can export the outline to SVG to send to Cricut to cut and score. If the label is within the limits of Cricut print and cut it can all be done within Cricut Access. I prefer to use a program such as Affinity Designer so I can make use of the full page .

Yes, to me time is money and Cricut Maker definitely does that. It's perfect for smaller companies or startups that don't need thousands of labels made at once. You don't have to be too generic since you can change the printed info at any time. As time goes on you tend to tweak your labels layout, design, info, product pricing and so on.

I'm not sure why you're having a problem with the sound I just played it and the sound seems to be fine. Is there anybody else out there having the same problem?
