I've made molds and you did a very nice job, but what's really impressive is the quality of your videos. Truly, top notch.

I think a beaver style creature bait, or a crawfish type bait would be really neat. I don’t know if you use anything like that there, but the bass in the southern US love them.

A small 3-inch shad for perch would be great, keep up the good work!
@thanoob29787 жыл бұрын
If you are into drop shoting you should definitely consider making some crostail shads. The perch seem to love them and I was able to get some good chub and trout to bite too. My favorite is a transparent white with black and silver glitter in 75 millimeter.
@PaulAdamsTheHandmadeFisherman7 жыл бұрын
i was thinking of doing some small shads, just to give me something different for the hook and also there was a lot fry about where i was fishing, thanks, not see the cross tail shads before so i will look them up

Hi Paul. I think the weedless lures are really useful and would be a decent challenge for you and would like to see you have a go at that. A weedless roach lure for pike or something for seaweedy pollock areas. I bet you could improve on the shop bought ones! 🤓

I don't know if they work in your area but creature baits could be fun. They would be a good test of how complicated you could get with the shape and still get a good release.

creature baits are a must i am not sure what I will catch with them but i like the idea

Great idea!! It seems a cheaper more attainable technique to make a mold, and I would like to she the some technique on a multi cavity mold using this technique. If you don't try it no worries I might try myself

id like to see a few lures made without power tools or special plastics, that would be cool also more coarse tackle like the feather floats and the homemade feeders they were epic!!!!!

it does not really need it, it would have no effect on the epoxy and the plaster is just a backing

When you put the 5 minute apoxy on do you completely cover the original?
@thanoob29787 жыл бұрын
ian santoro not exactly you just need to make sure that the whole mold is covered with a thin layer of epoxy. But theoretically you could make the whole mold out of epoxy it would just be more expensive. There won't be much of a difference I suppose.
@PaulAdamsTheHandmadeFisherman7 жыл бұрын
yes, but only a few millimetres
