Releasing an album every December for the last decade has been kinda exhausting, both mentally and creatively. So it's time to slow down a little and do some extra projects I've wanted to do for a while. I'm turning 41 years old this year and don't have the energy I used to have to be constantly creating 24/7, haha! But don't worry, the game songs aren't going anywhere, they're just gonna take a little longer to come out from now on. You guys have 200 other songs to keep you going while you wait so hopefully you should be ok :D Big luv

Honestly, the more passion you have for a game the more obviously it shines through in your work, every time I load up Mojave Song I am so utterly blown and swept away by the music and end up rocking out for 8 solid minutes. I've been following you since your first Metro song and have loved absolutely everything you've released up until now, it'll be really good to see how you remake some music in this year! My dad also often points out how varied my musical taste is and at one point when he was doing that, he pointed out how the song I was listening to at the time was so different from one I was listening to just an hour earlier and I told him that "dad, they were both by the same guy." When I first discovered your channel I was a junior in high school, in 2013/2014. My now 18-month-old daughter listened to the music so much while she was in the womb she recognized it when she came out and still dances whenever I put it on. There's a limit to how much work one person can do and in recent years I think people have become far too obsessed with making work their entire reason to be. You're exceptionally talented and there will always be people who admire your music, so there's no reason why you or any creative person shouldn't feel free to do what you want at the pace you want. Valhalla calling is a masterpiece on every single level; it has an epic geniune feel, a full and rich sound and inspiring heroic lyrics. And you can sing a long with it which is a huge plus for me as I love songs I can do that with. I played it non stop for 5 days when I first found it, in fact I'm going straight to it from here. I've never played a single minute of any Assassin's creed game, nor do I watch Vikings but that song.... damn it if it doesn't make me feel nostalgic.

As someone who's written a few novels for no financial gain, I know firsthand that creative burnout definitely hits hard sometimes. Personally, I'm glad that "Making Some Changes" means making less music rather than meaning making no music, since you're by far my favorite artist. Your songs so beautifully capture the feeling of playing a video game that I've bought Assassin's Creed games even though I don't like them, but because the songs you've made were so cool. (I was disappointed to find that Unity did not feel as cool to play as My Revolution made it seem, nor did it run as well on my computer). I look forward to every song you make, especially a remastered Take It Back, which I already love in it's current state, so I can't imagine how great it'll be once you take another look at it. Keep doing what you're doing at whatever pace works, we'll be here to enjoy every song you make.

I think part of what keeps me coming back to your music is how your love for the games themselves shines through. While there are still many people who do not take games seriously as an art form (including, sadly, many of the people in charge of the businesses that create those games), you always manage to find the heart of the work and express it through your music.
