Very nice Dave! I knew with enough pestering we'd convince you to start guiding lol

I've never been pestered so much but I needed it! 🍻

You could throw a couple of bolts front and back on the bottom of that losmandy plate as a safety to keep the scope from slipping off in either direction similar to how the Edge HD are equipped. It’s a nice safety feature on a heavy scope when your hands are cold.

Nice set up! I was fortunate enough to get a 152CF a little over a year ago. It's pretty massive but I love it.

That’s a lot of telescope. What mount are you using?

Not sure if stacking riser blocks is the way to go, you could be introducing flex in your system. Maybe you could try to mount the ASI AIR on the underside of the front end of the losmandy plate. Putting the weight close to the mount head is always better. Also, I can't help but wonder if your scope isn't back heavy ? But i don't have any experience with ES scopes, could be because it is a carbon fibre tube. In my case my Esprit 120 is mounted much higher on the mount head. CS

Thanks for watching and the input. Haven't noticed any issues yet. The ES refractors are crazy front heavy for some reason. Must be the glass they use as my Tak is much more balanced.

ADM D plate at the bottom, D plate on the top, and you are set for cable management. OAG has zero contribution to improvement of performance for carbon fiber refractors.
