It's scary to me. He's don't this exact same routine step by step word for word thousands of times. I could never. I have to vary how I do and say things. It just feels awful for me when I am repeating myself robotically or automatically for any significant length of time. In a theater production, it's not even like that. Because there's so many unpredictable varying elements that each performance is new. Until you get to a permanent Broadway cast that's playing the same music and performing the same lines hundreds of times. Then it's like this guy. Clock in, turn off your brain, clock out. Scares the shit out of me. If I'm not not being me, then what am I doing?? But that's me. That's my insecurity.

Sour!!! love it. I'm a huge fan of sour, though it's a special art to find the balance of sour that is powerful, but not painful on the teeth. Zours! was the best at this, but it no longer exists. Either way, glad to see sour come into the mix!

When I was a young child, my Grandmother, mother and Aunts would all gather in our kitchen and make batches of hard candy just like this! The actually buttered the table to keep from sticking and as it cooled they'd grab the super hot candy up, snip it and throw the pieces into powdered sugar to cool the rest of the way! I miss those days and those ladies! Great wholesome upbringing!

You use this candy base for candy canes & hard candies. Well it can be considered, this is also the base from which sugar wax, is produced. Yes!! For body hair removal! It's sugar, water & a splash of lemon juice, boiled down to a soft ball stage. Then spread upon a flat surface, to cool it, before jarring it up.
