Watch Joeymac ride in rocky terrain. Always standing and in 2nd or 3rd gear using the clutch for climbs. These guys are doing the opposite.
@willbrown16218 жыл бұрын
M W the difference is that joey mac knows what he's doing
@BeRADMoto8 жыл бұрын
The difference is Joey is a much better rider who is less likely to lose balance going over terrain like this. Meaning, Joey won't have to sit down and get a foot on the ground to keep balance (like me).
@TheKansasDude8 жыл бұрын
BeRAD I don't understand why everyone is always busting your balls. lol. Plain and simple Joeymac has more experience. There is no way around that. Keep it up dude.

How would you rate all the trails as a whole? Im from in WV, but yet have been able to take my bike up there since i just got my first bike around 2-3 months ago. Would you think a beginner/moderate rider would be able to accomplish all the trails?
@Db1rider8 жыл бұрын
I would not think most beginner riders could do this system. What the Go-Pro fails to show is elevation. The trails were steep. If you look at an earlier video posted you will see where Courtney ran off the trail and into trees. That was due to her experience level on this type of terrain. Steep hills and loose gravel is not good for beginners.
@zApolloUS8 жыл бұрын
oh Im sure the one he was showing was completely out of beginners skill range, i was mentioning his trip as a whole, all the trails he was riding on
@Db1rider8 жыл бұрын
That's the thing, even the connecting trails have pretty steep elevation changes that would make it hard on beginner riders. I really did not see anything while I was there that I would be comfortable putting a beginner on.
@zApolloUS8 жыл бұрын
I mean ive been trail riding multiple times with hills at least on a 30-45% incline which is very tough and im experienced enough to be riding and racing a 450 4stroke so...

The moral of this story is don't take an old heavy xr600 and an inexperienced rider up a trail for experienced riders only with only 1hr of daylight. haha You made it out alive with a great story to tell and as mentioned you guys are closer for it which is always a bonus. The other bonus is that your inexperienced rider is now more experienced 👍Thanks for sharing.

You can ride for days and see nothing but rocks and trees. I went on a four wheeler ride and rode with a group for a week. Mostly night riding because it was hot that summer. Took food tent etc had lots of fun. Never forget it.

I've been on some of the trails since I lived their for half my life and they're pretty fun to ride dirt bikes and fore-wheelers. Of course those kind of trails the adults clearly wouldn't let us on (the kids were 10-14 years old, I was 13) because we would either hurt ourselves or fall off the mountain.

Nice video, brought back personal not so fond memories of that trail system, a big 4 stroke + adventure style suspension+being an old fart adding up to broken ribs is not what I expected. If I ever go back, it'll be on a nice small 2 smoke like you have. But with proper lighting hehehe.
@ruffus80397 жыл бұрын
P.S. I can't imagine doing those trails with no lighting, even at dusk my headlight system lit up rocks & ruts that would have bit me hard if I didn't have the lights.
