Hope everyone is doing well. Happy to read your chats. It's informative a lot. I want to discuss one thing with you, I am doing beekeeping since 3 years. Doing job as Apiculture Unit officer in private organization. In a university we want to start beekeeping as a research and honey production, we have plan to start with 30 afghani boxes. Please guide how to start? With how many boxes? Plantation plan? Model farm? Can anyone guide? A lot to discuss! We can create a WhatsApp group as well....

Never feed refine sugar for bee. rule No.1 in beekeeping. Leave enough honey in the hive for the bees to live in their natural environment. Keep spare fames with honey and feed the weak bee hives if needed. Don’t extract all the honey from hives and get greedy you make big honey production . If you make a syrup use honey to feed the bees for stimulations

Sounds like your not a Beekeeper. Get real ! Sometimes Bees are unable to source enough Resources at times of Dearth (No Flowers/Nectar/Adequate Water) So yes Do Feed White Sugar in a SoS Situation ! Think before you comment !!! 🙄 Beeks : Never Feed Bees Honey From other Hives, or Store Bought, or Dark Brown Sugar.... these will pass on disease or pathogens, and brown Sugar gives Bees Dysentery ! Ignore Luci75D... Doh. 😖

@@ME_MeAndMyBees I have bees for over 26 years , Next to 450 hives now in 2 stationary yards and 3 trucks ( except nukes ) I don’t take from bees more than it can be taken....i always let them to have the resources...I grew up with this rule , I keep and winter them in most natural way with no support ...trust me they are healthy. The stationary yards are bio level credited and register so I work in the most natural way for them and they are not sick . Imagine a 450 hives to stimulate them in sugar syrup just with 2 lites only I go at 900 kg of sugar to purchase ....then where is the profit ? Sugar is not cheap also ! Make good base of flowers next to your home if you have a possibility, with a large variety of flowers. Next to your bee yards if is possible. In March I plant 5 hectares of Facelia next to yards ....acacia forest near to me as well. 2 km away the linden trees forest farms lands with sunflower also near by. I have flows until late October ...but I also Create the flower vase resources for them ! Yes I never mix frames from The trucks with stationary yards Logic I do t do that because they are bio hives. But between hives in the trucks I do because they travel in same environments and formats always So crossing pathogens can be minimal !

Did you ever do stimulations in spring with the frames which have little honey from your best honey ( to say acacia ). I do that. I stimulate with acacia honey I keep 100’s of frames of acacia honey just for this ....imagine I never use this frames for the year I need to store them separate ...just for this natural stimulation ....acacia honey it’s very strong in antioxidants ...high level of fructose , no smell after a year almost ......I just uncap them with the special fork and you can see how bees react ....they awake from hibernation like a trigger ! 🤝
