They turned out beautiful, Arianna! I used red palm oil in one of my first batches last year. They are now a creamy yellow. Now I want to get it back out and try again with micas.

You can purchase the beakers (Anchor Hocking brand, I believe) at Walmart or on Amazon. The are great for melting and pouring small amounts especially lip balms/scrubs, etc. Have 3 or 4 myself!

Oh yes I want to use up my red palm before it goes bad. I was making it for hair but it’s too thick. I use such a teeny tiny amount. I wasn’t willing to continue on with it. I think I will use it in soap.

Beautiful soap! I used red palm oil to make a batch of soaps before, but the color faded as time went by, it eventually turned into creamy white colour.

It is light sensitive, so keep them out of direct sunlight :-)

How does your soap stay at light trace for so long???? When I make soap it gets thick quite fast. I can never pour my soap into the mold...I always scoop
