That trailer needs a preventative maintenance done on it. You should be replacing those inner seals and repacking the wheel bearings. The brake shoes should be completely dry and free of contaminates. Great vid.

Yeah, pay extra to balance the time but wouldn't take the extra steps to replace the inner seal and clean the grease off. You got way more money than brains, but you're doing better than me in life. Cheers to you pal.

@@raisinracinbrealynn1478 I bought a new cargo trailer a year ago. Came with made in China tires and made in Vietnam rims. One tire assembly needed 1 lb of weights and the other very close. Unbalanced I don't think they would have lasted 1000 miles.

Yeah, you definitely don't want a trailer tire/wheel coming off. Don't ask how I know... Pro tip, check torque early and often, especially on alloy trailer wheels (looks like you have steel ones). Need more Mo content. I can't be sure you do things right unless Mo is supervising.

Dan, Dan Dan, Love your content and gave this a like, but some things were overlooked here. So I'll be 'that guy' today..... I'm assuming you did put actual trailer tires on, just wanted to mention that since you didn't. I would recommend replacing the inner seal, cleaning the brakes (possibly/probably replacing the shoes while you're at it), and properly cleaning and re-greasing the bearings before re-assembly. And I would eventually (soon) perform the same procedure on all 4 wheels. You REALLY want properly performing brakes with a (relatively) heavy boat/trailer setup like that. Also, research how to remove the Bearing Buddy, they come off more quickly and easily than what you went through - there's no need to remove the C-clip and zerk. Otherwise, good stuff man.

hmm love you guys but is this a check to see how much we know as a viewer? dont know to much about boat trailers but normal trailers needs brakes so clean that grease out of the drum and buy new shoes .
