Thanks so much for this. I'm searching for an uplifting craft project and you boldly described the exact scenario I'm in. You know a project will make you feel better but getting the motivation to start is tough. For creative types, just walking into Hobby Lobby or Michael's is a feel-good fix with so many possibilities & inspiration overload. I may spend too much there & end up with dozens of unfinished projects but the ones I do manage to complete before I head back into my rabbithole are treasured reminders of what I can achieve in spite of "it all". Love the beautiful mirror! Thanks again for sharing the process with all of us :) Looking forward to more from your channel.

This is very cute. And good job on those gradients, they are a pain! Someone once said that "art and collecting art supplies are two different hobbies" and I felt that part with the beige paint in my soul
I LOVED Rub 'n' Buff!! I used it for a few projects in high school but forgot all about it! My favorite project I used it on was a ceramic statuette I made of Bastet. I painted her with black acrylic paint, then went over in various spots with gold and silver rub 'n' buff. One of my best pieces.

The amount of effort you put into your video is just wonderful, as well as the raw honesty of where you were at! So totally shocked to check all your social and see you weren't million follower kind of internet famous. Just goes to show that you can't judge someone by a follower count - because you are clearly a mega talented and valuable human

They turned out amazing! I think most of us can relate having times of blah. It’s ok! Not beating yourself up about it is important. To snap myself out of a funk I grab a good book and sit outside to read. It helps me being in nature. Thanks for taking the time to put this video together. I appreciate you!

I have also been going through a massive depressive state that I cannot seem to shake and I signed up to do a large show in June so that I can keep some motivation and work towards a goal. So far, that has helped me some. I am still depressed; but, this is helping. I hope you've moved past the block now!

Your first 30 seconds were so hardcore relatable that I had to subscribe. Sorry you’re feeling badly; depression is a jerk. I’m in a weird non-creative mental health struggle bus myself right now. When I can’t make, I watch others make. And you’re delightful!

Hello and blessings for you my dear! Let me say something …The only thing I would change about this is the base of the mushrooms. I Would make them a little thinner at the end so that they look like they were coming out of the moss am I explain myself correctly? …as if they were blooming from inside the moss but otherwise let me tell you that it turned out super great!!!! I'm looking for ideas to change some large mirrors I have and I really loved this idea! Thank you for sharing your talent and wonderful creativity.

My husband has stopped questioning my 90 different shades of brown paint lol Or any of the craft stuff I have. I saw a cute mushroom light project the other night and he wants to help make it and went with me to get supplies even! I think I'm slowing converting him to my ways or he's just brainwashed haha Those frames are sooo cute tho and I'm eyeballing a couple of things in my house now that might need some moss and shrooms :)

I know what you mean with your mans comments about shopping more craft supplies. 🙄😅 Nowadays I sneak it into my studio when he’s not looking or are away. 😄 If he by chance sees something that he hasn’t seen before and asks I cross my fingers and say that I had it in the back of a shelf. 😁 I buy glue and some small things now and then so he won’t be suspicious and so far it works. 😮💨😅

First time viewer. And the video starts out with personal problems. No one needs that. Find a support group or a great shrink. Not your audience. People if you don't like my comment, I don't care. Don't waste your time commenting. Very off-putting. Happy day. God bless
