Yo sorry the audio is so bad on this video 😭Something must have gone wrong in compression

Clipping your mic to your clothes rather than trying to do everything one-handed so you can hold your knife in place so you can be heard might also be a big help with consistency of sound.

I’m glad the audio being messed up wasn’t just me because I panicked and thought my earbuds were broken 😂
@PricklyAlpaca Жыл бұрын
@@dmoore8557 Unfortunately I don't think it would help much 😅I'm using a really cheap lav at the moment and the sound quality is extremely muffled when I clip it to my shirt (even when I use the tape trick). That's the reason I clip it onto another object to begin with. To get good audio I'll just need to upgrade at some point.

I had a fan running close to my speaker and I thought it was doing that thing where if you talk into the fan it turns your voice into a robot 😂I was moving it all over the place trying to fix it lmao

@@PricklyAlpaca Was wondering... and I'm no expert, so take it with a very large grain of salt... how would it sound if you built it into a forehead band with the mic pointed down towards your mouth? Nothing to interfere with the sound and you'd have your hands free. You could make something really fabulous looking, I'm sure 😊

Honestly this made me think of an appropriately decorated beaded doorway that you could easily walk through this way as to give the illusion of "emerging" from a solid surface (in costume) & I would be so tempted if I had the space.

There is a book series called Reckless (reading it in German its amazing) in which a silver, adorned mirror allows people to enter a late 1700s World where every Fairytale is reality. I highly recommend, it is very well written (in German at least) and very dark and mature.

I liked this video before even watching it because I knew it would be fantastic ! And I wasn't disappointed 💜For the airbrush, I suggest investing in an Iwata. They can be expensive but they are reliable and really durable (mine is like 7 years old and still working perfectly). You can begin with a NEO or a Revolution, they are good starting airbrushes. Also, for the compressor, try to take one with a reservoir (they usually have 2 tanks). That way, it won't always run (which can be annoying after a while). Hope this helps ! 😊
