The PIPS 4 Profit program’s Jen Riseley (Pomewest) and Nigel Swarts (TIA) had the chance to catch-up with John Hearman of Donnybrook, WA, when he hosted the researcher roadshow in late August. Realising that his Piqa®Boo® pear orchard was not going to be profitable long term, he finally took steps to convert to Red Angel using budding in March 2024. Hear why he wishes he did it earlier!
