MAKING THE F30 LOUD! (Muffler Delete & Straight Pipe)

WATCH TILL THE VERY VERY END LOLOLOLOL
Well, I have finally got a muffler delete on the F30, and boy is it loud, I have also installed a Supersprint straight pipe, and all together it sounds great, and i'm constantly driving in manual mode now!
The car sounds much better in person, but the mic did do a great job recording how it sounds.
This was done on a 328i so if you have a 335i it will sound different, most likely better because it is a Inline 6.

Did you have any issues with the exhaust actuator throwing any codes? what did you do with it when you did the muffler delete? My exhaust place said they couldnt change the tips because it would throw a CEL.

Honestly its smarter if i dont give my take on that, because its a different engine and it will sound different, for me, it does not drone, and i was afraid of the same thing, it being way too loud and sounding like a civic, shockingly tho, id actually would be ok with a little louder! When you're inside the car, you dont really hear too much, its literally the perfect set up, not too loud, and not too quiet, no drone, not raspy and it pops and crackles.

Design is good, fitment was tricky, welding must be done, and it does not drone at all!

I did a muffler delete to my C300 2015 Mercedes and it's really a game changer when it's drive mode is set to Sport+ You can really hear the roar upon changing gears!

hey i have a question. i have a 2018 33oi xdrive and i just did a muffler delete a few weeks ago and now im thinking of doing a resonator delete too. it looks like when they did your muffle delete they also removed your valves? i was told by my muffler shop that removing the valves would throw a code? and i was also told i have two resonators, one in the middle in the same spot that you had your resonator removed and one closer to the front of the car kind of before where the cats are is that right?

Ive done a similar thing to mine, but with a Y-piece for dual exhaust pipe exits. I have a pretty annoying drone inside though. Any idea how to reduce the drone, but keep the muffler delete?

Your car sounds sick! So you did a muffler and resonator delete as well as installed the straight pipe section 2, but in your video, when the mechanic was reinstalling your exhaust tips, it looks like two little resonator shaped things were installed. What are those two little pieces? Are they little resonators or just attachment pieces simply just connecting the tips to the rest of the exhaust system?

Yeah pretty much. Its so much fun, never thought id say that about a non dual clutch transmission, but this ZF is damn near perfect! Never felt such reliability in a transmission.

In total with the straight pipe and labor costs about 430$, but with a Resonator delete and muffler delete you should be at 280-300 max and achieve the same sound.

Not too bad sounds good if you ever look into buying an exhaust system I would recommend AWE Tuning they make them especially for the f30 they are a bit pricey but sounds absolutely amazing just had mine installed not to long ago anyway car looks/sounds awesome man nice!
