At this point, might as well give Ryan Wilson a coaching role at Fiji Rygby. My guy loves Fiji and its people and you can see it in his face. Awesome content fellas🙏🏽

Great episode! Mick has some awesome stories - it'll be super interesting to see how the Fijians go against the ABs on Saturday. It's a bit of a shame it's in US rather than Fiji - the Drua have looked so strong at home this year!

Great insight on Mick’s approach to coaching the Fiji National Team. His stint with Drua has paved the way for an understanding of Fijian players culture. Awesome podcast.

Loved this segment. And yes, I think Wilisoni will fit in well in the Fiji Rugby environment. The pay might not be that good but if he wants it, Fiji Rugby should give it to him

I disagree saying it’s a Fijian way for turning up 1 day before the game. The game it’s more professional this days. Fiji Rugby Union needs to pull there pans more organize getting the team over atleast 1weeks early. Mick not sharing the experience he face for this trip. Visa problem with some of the boys. Fiji Rugby Union #valekau should employ people that are qualified for the position in the office knowing what they doing not running around last minute to get visa and all. If we set the boys right during there tour the results will be different. It happened to the Fijiana when they end up sleep in Sydney airport. Get it right Fiji Rugby Union

Never in the interview did they mention that turning up " 1 day before the game" it's a Fijian way...take up your issue with FRFU and don't try to spoil what was an excellent podcast.

Mick is making a mistake by being too casual when coaching the Fiji boys. He should get some solid advise from Ben Ryan on how to handle the relaxed, casual attitude they have towards playing rugby. Against the ABs this weekend it truly exposed how not being serious about efficiently using the ball, knowing your roles and wasted possessions lost them the game. It is a nice sentiment to try and be accepted but it will not win you serious test matches. This is why Cotter in his interviews in Super Rugby when his Bluez side plays the Drua, he indicates that he doesnt take them seriously and it will be an easy win. Are you there to win serious games or be their friend, Mick?
