On the other hand, because Pyg is the econ character he's uniquely suited to rolling hard for niche synergies. He definitely needs some amount of fewer non-functional items like ice cream truck, but I can see him being the one that has really specific trigger conditions that others don't have so you have to get certain pieces to activate his builds.

Ice cream truck needs something. Perhaps a "when you freeze increase the value of the item to the .. of this", or there needs to be an item which lets you increase the freeze duration, just like there is to increase the haste duration.

I feel like ice cream truck and igloo are only synergistic if you are going 4 small items or lots of multicast. Otherwise ice cream truck would be better off with 3 more fast small items to get more charges (fitting for an ice cream truck). But you are the master, so I'll trust your opinion. * P.S. Ice Washwally with igloo would be hilarious

I agree so much with the speech at the end. I would like to see either some of pyg’s properties or property-enhancing items (like balcony, closed sign) get smaller. There’s just so little space to make any decisions if you need multiple properties. In most cases you end up with 2 large properties taking 6 spaces. I know some things would need balancing if they got smaller, but it just seems more fun to be able to put more diverse combinations together.

I was thinking about what an ice cream truck is. Instead of a vehicle for generating freeze imagine if it worked as a facilitator for and hindrance to friends builds. What if it sped up your friends (charge, haste, whatever) and debuffed your opponent's friends (slow, freeze, whatever). And if the effect on your opponents is too niche (though the primary reason is to buff your own friends) you could gain money at the end of the fight if your opponent has friends because you sold them all ice cream.

I had a super similar build where I high rolled shielded vineyard and restorative fort. Used bushel to go infinite, and sharp corners and prime real estate to scale a runic double double bow to the moon. Was healing and shielding so much I even won against a really nasty caltrops build

Jewelry ,narwhal ,the game currently does have items with almost no synergy yeah Weird thing is that new and rebalanced items can change the value of others so much that it makes me wonder if the devs keep some items nerfed just for the possibility of adding some others that do make coherent builds.

Was wondering this. I only watch his content on this game so from the limited knowledge I know, there will be new classes in the future. Perhaps one of them or an even later one opens up better possibilities for vehicles or other items that would otherwise be bad in their class but become very useable elsewhere or with newly introduced skills/effects/items.

Narwhal is in a fine place and is underrated. It's a small aquatic weapon friend with a 4 second cooldown, it has more synergies than most Vanessa weapons, it can be slotted in many builds. It's rarely an endgame item but not everything has to be. It's definitely more playable than Throiwng Knives, Piranha, Javelin, Shoe Blade, Grappling Hook, ... As for Ice Cream Truck I think the devs are very aware that making freeze items too powerful can be very dangerous for the health of the game, but I've seen it work when Vanessa drops it from Chilly Charles.

It feels like ice cream truck would fare better on the other characters. Vanessa has the aquatics with lots of non-weapon small items with haste mechanic and dooley has tons of ways to go brrr with non-weapons.
