Man, bro you don't realize how ecstatic I am that you built my Tron disc. This is a disc build not for the faint of heart. You touched on everything perfectly! Too bad you couldn't get the outer Corner leds going, that is the cream of the crop if you can get those. I used 28-32awg wire for everything. Congrats on your Tron disc. sorry it was so frustrating.

I'm a beginner and I've just bought the 3D file from shrieker1. I would like to know if the following files are to be printed: blunt blade disney/ bottom_shell_final/buttonresized/ChassisV6.15/IdentityDiscbladeV2blade_1/KnubsV3/Topshell_Final/Transparent_pieces. Are any files missing from the original ones, as there are some duplicates? My second question is: On PCBway, what material did you use for the transparent parts such as ("transparent pieces and blunt blade")? My third question is what size did you choose for the disc? Because shrierker1 said that you should at least print in 250*250. Sorry for my questions, but thanks to your video I'll be able to make one of my dreams come true.

How did you make out on your build? I'm current getting close to finishing up a build and it has been quite the challenge. There definitely should be some more instructions where the components go. I have figured it out I think but man there's practically no help besides a few pictures and the wiring diagram (which has some invalid pictures I might add). Trying to get mine done so I can have Garrett Hedlund hold it in a photo op this weekend! This disc is an excellent design, biggest issue I've had is getting the thing to open and close. It seems like the specs are too perfect which doesn't align well with FDM printing. I'm having to sand stuff down to get it to "lock" properly.

Thanks so much for sharing!! Great to see a model in action, and doing so well. Sorry if I missed it, but does this come apart easily enough to change the batteries? Or have they just lasted so dang well, you haven't needed to do so? Also, thoughts on the ability to replace the screws with magnets to allow for the battery access?

Not at all! The current identity disks im selling on Etsy were printed in PLA+ and they’re super solid (printed with 3 walls, 10% infill)

Your disk is very cool but the tutorial is missing many points like all of the wirering sodering and codeing so can you make another tutorial more detailed with no errors and showing your pc screan so we can follow along step by step please i want to make it too

One thing I wish is he would show in detail how to assemble it because I had no idea were to solder the buttons or the proffie board. I'm a fan of your work but I wish you would at least show how to solder the neopixels because thjs video was wayyy to rushed.

If you’re working on this disk, then that means you bought the files. If you bought the files, then that means you have the wiring diagram. If you have the wiring diagram, then you know where every switch, button, and neopixel goes💁🏻‍♂️
