One of my favourite films. Tim and Cybil were great and are wearing well. Lovely speech from Tim about his brother Sam.

I was 16 years old in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and the public library would show classic movies and TLPS was one of these. I am 52 now and I must have seen this movie over 20 times and just rewatched after learning of Ms Leachmans passing and am struck once again by how brilliant of a cast Mr Bogdonavich and his producers wrangled together. Absolutely Brilliant.

Certainly one of the greatest films, whenever I see it, I find that it takes me a couple of days to recover. The entire cast was extraordinary- Timothy Bottoms stands out- seeing him speak so movingly of his brother in this anniversary show, brought me back to the film. thank you for posting this.

Timothy Bottoms has a sensitive heart to match that lovely face- he's been to the puppet show. Bogdanovich's Paper Moon also proves his connection with young actors. Both black and white movies, of course.

Timothy Bottoms seems like a real nice man He is one of my favourite actors and one of the best looking actors of his time.

I live in the same area as Archer City in Texas...This movie is one of the ONLY movies I know that truly captures the feeling of this area....THE ONLY ONE...I agree with Peter Bogdanovich the actors were brilliant, they captured the crazy west Texas accent...and portrayed the characters exquisitely. Mr. Bogdanovich was brilliant in so many ways...and Polly Platt as well... I consider this movie definitive! capturing so many facets ....I watch it over again and never get tired of it...Cybil Sheppard is incredible not having every acted in a movie before...thats amazing.

Cybill Shepard was just so stunning-looking at that point in her life. You really could see how she could toy with the various males as she did, playing the part of Jacy. Of course they couldn't resist her.

I worked in Wichita Falls in the 70s and again around 2012 and it hasn’t changed much at all except there’s alot more boarded up and for lease buildings downtown , I think a lot of the oil industry left after the 80s and what’s left is the Air Force base but I loved working there and would happily retire if I could I call it the town time forgot

Live din the area for three years back in early 60s. issued the Wichtiat Falls of that time. Still recall the immense impression of power seeing the B-52s all lined up in a row and ready to spring into the air and deliver devastation. The men who flew those planes the creme of the Air Force and their kids the brightest I ever taught by a long shot. . Spoiled me.

ps Timothy sure did Act Naturally like the Carl Perkins/Ringo Starr lyrics. maybe too natural for the Oscar idiots NOT to nominate him. Tim WAS that movie.

I have never seen this movie. I did see the clip of Cloris Leachman's famous speech with Timothy Bottoms shortly after she died. It made me want to see the movie at last that much more. I am very glad I happened to come across this little video. I am hoping the movie is on You Tube so I can see it sometime.

the BBS documentary says Timothy Bottoms does an interview and he doesn't. every scene with every actor interviewed showed Timothy, and Peter even bagged on Tim for screwing up several times, but never was Tim interviewed.
