Awesome job & great improvements ! Maybe you can raise the platform for the 8 studs house, 2 or 3 bricks higher. So it's not at the same level as the wooden cabin. Will cover more of the white wall behind & add even more level variations.
@karentiel Жыл бұрын
Some great changes and detail to the raised platform. Love how the trees behind the 8 Stud House look and the strip of grass/trail at the front. I'm glad you decided to keep the big hill and place it at the end. I think that will look great.

So glad you can fit a path to connect the areas now. Genuinely your “Renaissance Fair” is going to look better than a lot of Lego castle builds out there, as a huge castle fan you have made me very happy incorporating the blacksmith and hideout. Maybe you can squeeze the rumoured market place in there as well with a goat or two😂 Top work Bricksie

Love that the beast of a hill has been moved further away from the other hill. It helps it stand out more. And the Blacksmith building on that hill looks great! Not sure if anyone else has suggested this but what if half of that hill is raised a few more bricks and the blacksmith can be a bit higher? Then it will have more of a step down/up look and create another area for building on. That could possibly be a paddock for horses or another small-ish building. Whatever you decide I’m sure it will look fantastic. This area is really coming along great!

The uneven tables would bother me too. Good news, there is a very easy fix. Get a pack of cedar door shims from the hardware store, slide them underneath the leg until it raises up to your desired height. And if you want it to stay permanently the just add a little wood glue.

I think a really cool idea, since you have the Avatar sets on a shelf above the city, would be to convert that little Avatar area to a floating mountain, maybe over top that shelf or one of the floating shelves from Ikea? Could look really cool!

The changes look great and now knowing that you had the Hideout Set, that now suits that area perfectly. With the Jousting Area and Blacksmith being next to each other, maybe you can add a path between them for the horses to go for Shoeing and the Knights can go and get their equipment and weapons repaired. Keep Brickin.

The trail looks great, and I think it would look even better with some small trees lining it. Also, I was thinking some vines overhanging the masonry bricks would really pop. It's a hard place to access right? Just a trail, so I would expect some overgrown vegetation there, including vines. Of course, they'll have to clear the trains whizzing by.

Bricksie, are you going to add to the Forest Hidout? Like a big middle tree trunk section? Making it a bigger tree, like the Treehouse is a bigger tree? Then you can even hid that blue roof, a bit better, with leaves and so on. Could the Friends Treehouse, give you some of the needed parts? Get two more blacksmiths, with two Bonsai(?) Tree's, for a tavern and stables, to go with the Blacksmith and thus a place the people going to the games, can sleep and stable their horses. As for the trainstation, make sure they have long platforms, that side has the needed room.

It's a little critque, but the airstrip technically has no spot for an aircraft to park in case more than one came there, now in story it could be that there is only one owner for the airstrip and therefore only that one plane flies, but even with the space constrictions I feel like a location to move an aircraft to rest is somewhat neccessary for a airstrip
