Really like all the prototypes, development, and design behind-the-scenes that they share. Garphill has such amazing art and also graphic design. You don't really appreciate it until you see the game without the art but with the design. Super fun. Thanks for sharing!

Well, here’s at least one person who thinks the games keep getting better 😃 I am loving Wayfarers and can’t wait to get my physical copy of Scholars and play it multiplayer. The solo mode on TTS is incredible!

I will always be interested in what these two gentlemen are working on next. So many hours of joy playing their games these last several years. I am super looking forward to playing the new reworked Shipwrights, since the original did not have a solo mode. It was also nice seeing, what I presume, were members of your families. Keep up the great work guys! You will always have a fan in me.

My husband and I have really enjoyed Hadrian’s Wall and Legacy of Yu. South Tigris is my first entry into your trilogies. Dice placement is one of my favs! I’m eagerly waiting for both Wayfarers and Scholars. Your game designs and aesthetics really resonate with me. Thank you for making such cool games!

Super excited to get Scholars soon, & looking forward to Wednesday for E&N. Love the diversity in the design of your games. The shared iconography brings everything together so well. Helps even a new trilogy like the South trilogy seem somewhat familiar. Love the docu videos too. You guys are my favorite designers.

I love your South Tigris games so far! The only complaint I have is that Wayfarers lacks a goal at the start the game like Scholars have! I would be happy if you added this feature with the expansion! Can't wait to see more of Inventors!

Imoo. Wayfarers has more direction than scholars. The journal track and inspiration cards is your goal

looks great and tbh even though there are still two games to come out, i can’t wait to see what u guys have plans ed for the next East trilogy in terms of theme and mechanics! I personally love how slightly more deep and complicated the gameplay goes as u move through the three trilogies so far. It’s subtle but linear and not too steep in terms of increasing difficulty gradient. Great job!!

Thanks for sharing the process, it is interesting to see and know your way. I've just began to play with your games. Fall in love with them especially the South trilogy because of dice. Love euro and worker placement games with dice and deck building. Also feel the need of a heavier game, I want to make a step forward and begin playing with heavier euros, and I think your games are just perfect for me to do this. Love the style, the graphics, the theme, the mechanics. I'm having a hard time to find out some of the iconography of Wayfarers - but after a few games it makes sense. However, if you could just make a precise card list and guide for all the cards (like Inspiration and Star cards) in your future games, that would be very helpful for casual gamers. I've also got the feeling - maybe some day I can design my own game too. :) I don't know where and how to start, if you could please give us a livestream or a video about game designing facts and sources, where to start, that would be awesome. Can't wait for the whole trilogy :) and also looking forward to the East series, if you're planning to do so. I hope it won't be so confrontative, as I'm not so into war games - that's why I love South and West series, and not so much the North and the others, where you had to invade, attack, and other aggressive things.

I own both Wayfarers and Scholars (along with Raiders, Architects and Paladins). I love the added heaviness of both South Tigris games. One small question: Is there any clarification on how Inspiration doubles the Sun/Moon combo? Is it a max of 21 or 28 points or something else? I'm playing it at 21 points, since doubling the Sun card and not the Moon card makes the most sense.
@garphillgames11 ай бұрын
If you have both the Sun and Moon, an Inspiration tucked above either of them would be worth 7VP. So, Sun, Moon, and 2 Inspiration maxes out at 28VP. But Sun, Moon, and only 1 Inspiration Card would only be 21VP.

i do love wayfarers, but it has to get more plays before i can put it up w/the west kingdom games for me, and i guess being heavier makes it a bit harder to table (oh, if only that weren't the case lol).. but even if the south never quite reaches the heights of the west, i don't think that's any reason to think the peak is passed! they are certainly at least close, and you're definitely reaching new heights in a variety of aspects.. the growth doesn't have to be linear, there are so many ways to grow. here's to 100 more great games lol

So I've got Runesaga and Tomesaga... will there eventually be a Scrollsaga for the Sough Tigris games?

Loved Wayfarers and looking forward to Scholars arriving next month, hopefully. I look forward to the completion of the series and being able to playthrough with the Saga, as that's our favorite way to play through the West series. Should be great once Shipwrights Redux arrives, as that's the only reason we don't play through the Runesaga currently. :( How far away do you think we are from information about the East series? I know, we're insatiable beast. :)
@garphillgames Жыл бұрын
Thanks! We will likely be announcing the East's title this year, as we will want to release the 4th part of the documentary. We won't have much to share on the gameplay of each title for a while, as we've only just starting working on the first game in the past few weeks.
