My dude. The key is the cargo grid. It can hold 420 scu on the grid, which does not count against the entity limit. Go buy 420 SCU of waste and look at how it's packed. 16's 2's and 1's on the salvage deck. 8's 2's and 1's in the cargo hold. Pack the grid first, and then print 100 16 scu boxes. That's 2020 SCU.

You had collected exactly 100 x 16 SCU boxes off the cargo grid. If we assume 100 boxes are the threshold for the start of the density manager cleanup, and if the density manager does not clean up boxes on the grid, which I suppose it shouldn't, you could reach a potential maximum of: 1600 SCU off grid + 420 SCU on grid = 2020 SCU of RMC resulting in a payout of 12,120,000 aUEC Not the best method for aUEC/h, however it would maximize profit while sacrificing time spent for filling smaller boxes and moving them down to the cargo hold grid, and filling up the salvage processing grid to the brim.

we made 9 million in one run a couple of days ago. We had crates literally EVERYWHERE... ship was so full that we were leaving crates as breadcrumbs behind us

Just use the valet service if you want to land quickly at Orison. It's directly at the Orison marker. Valet service only cost like 2000 aUEC and takes just 10 seconds to get you served. Vehicle retrieval gets a cooldown of 15 minutes tho - but with premium express option (another 5000 aUEC) you can skip the wait entirely =D

since you can sell the CM at seraphim, dump all the boxes into a HULL C and you should be able to fit at least 144 boxes without despawning, since its the box count of a full HULL C with 32 SCU boxes. The problem with the reclaimer is that a pain to unload boxes to the outside via the awful elevator.

I found that if you approach the hammerhead from perpendicular above it, place the center of ship reticle near the front part of the center hole of the hammerhead, and get to 51-54m from the target (you have to look down to check), youll most of the time be able to suck in both in one and fill the buffer fully. Placing the center ship reticle at the back of the hammerhead donut hole cracks the ship fastest and is likely to get you a full buffer with just the body, the head requiring you to move (make sure youre on the non-turret side). For filling is, the back catwalk can pretty safely hold a double stack, fill that first to get it past the chains. Fill the rest of the catwalks, then fill the back of ship up to the ceiling, you can fit 2 containers beneath the catwalk, 3 beneath the chain, and 6 up to the ceiling. Cargo room and salvage hold can fit 4 across, 3 across with strut spaces. Can move 5 crates on the elevator if youre ok threading the needle.

I feel the Reclaimer will see a huge rework. It's from a time long ago before CiG knew what they had in mind. Not to mention the imminent component overhaul as well. I'm guessing they'll actually make it a capital ship with more capital components than it has currently. The internal compartments need an overhaul and probably an entire size increase. The storage compartments are a complete joke and the elevator that transfers to those compartments an embarrassing feature that should have never been there in the first place. It's way too small to fit anything above 2 scu boxes without it being a pain and 32 scu boxes are pretty much impossible.

There is guy that offloads his Claimer cargo straight down the elevator to a C2 parked right at the bottom. I'm gonna try that next.

I'm currently building a new salvager, not sure if CIG will accept it, but it's worth a shot 😊 it'll basically be a Capital Ship in size if you will but definitely worth its weight in Gold in many ways.

I tried getting abrades on the ship to have aome scraping efficiency but the rate of scrape is so slow that using the claw is the only real money maker

Nice.... We usually leave the cargo area alone as the elevator is a PITA. We do start with 8scu boxes and fire them downstairs to the salvage cargo area... We can fill the bottom area with 8's and then fill the salvage area with 16 to the roof. We've technically got room left before we leave but it starts getting a little sketchy with boxes bouncing. Haven't kept track of scu amounts, but our record $$ amount so far (2 of us) is 16.3M auec... decent run split 2 ways.

to make this more clear... (don't have an exact number as we just tracked total $$$), about 4Mish of this was the 250k bonuses for the HH cleanup jobs. Essentially, the two of us run from HH cleanup to HH cleanup, I grab one and go, he grabs one and shares it after I'm done mine... they consistantly spawn between us and we are never waiting for one. He stacks while I go from mission to mission cracking and disintegrating... I don't worry about how much we lose on disintegration. Usually he can stack about 170 of 240 ish before I can crack another and fill the depot... we just keep doing this until he says he can't stack more... I also fly back with a full depot which allows us to sell, and then go back out to the reclaimer and get another 240 from the depot without having to go crack another HH and sell that.

@@trevoC132 Literally just did this last night and did about 5 or 6 HH missions and I had about 100SCU already in there from before. We got 9.2M for that run cause we got paranoid about 30k and he lost a ton the night before so I wanted to give the guy a W lmao.. it was my Reclaimer. That mission is just silly really, but you get into rhythm so its still kinda fun in a dumb way. The game and ship is just a vibe, and plus I carry a couple a Fury's in the Cargo Hold to take out on joy rides and MRT missions lmao :)

Just fyi, had two 30k's so far with reclaimer but 30k protection has always recovered them for me. You do have to wait up to about 15 minutes in your home world, but its usually just 5 or 10 minutes... wait until the reclaimer doesn't have the claim option and says retrieve and bam... all your goods are still in there.... in fact one 30k saved us a trip home and landing. We might have done one more but were happy to save the whole return to home and landing crap... just retrieve ship (you have to retrieve it first) than store it again and you can sell the stuff. @@WigganNuG

There's been so many ppl taking their load into hex lately, it must be like taking candy from children =) But there's a possible downside of not being able to sell it. At least hex admin didn't accept stolen RMC lately - not sure if we can sell stolen construction materials there or if scrapyards take it.

Hahaha! This was very enjoyable to watch. The Reclaimer is quirky to say the least. But it has character. Hopefully CIG will give it some more love soon. The most important thing is it should be fun to operate, both multi or solo, as well as being able to make good credits. Seems we are nearly there. I usually alternate salvage, ship mining, cargo runs and bounty hunting. Used the Vulture and Prospector for a bit, but now upped the game to Reclaimer and MOLE. Having fun doing it. It makes too much right now especially with that you're-dumb-if-you-don't-farm-the-shit-out-of-this 250k Hammerhead Clean up mission! It will get nerfed from an aUEC per/hr. standpoint for sure. They do this on purpose to test the game loop, and how long people will farm something before they get bored lmao... that psyop part is pure speculation on my part lmao. I don't know how else to explain the existence of that 250k HH Clean up mission; I mean the dev's are not stupid; they know what they are doing! lmao.

you can get the 16scu crates in elevator, its the 24scu crates that dont "fit" but they will clip through so you can move them into your ship. but if it bounces it can kill you
