34:54 this what I’ve been saying about it being stupid that shields aren’t always up. All ship functions should be operational at all times. Not sure what a good flight model is but crippling ship functions is not an acceptable solution.

First let me say, I agree that when we reclaim a ship, it shouldn’t restock everything. BUT while we are still playing a game that can randomly make our ship explode from glitching hanger doors or invisible asteroids, implementing the penalties without the stability to keep us from blowing up every 15 minutes is a little too soon. Through no fault of your own, you can completely bankrupt yourself just for wanting to take your ship out for a spin.

would be so nice if you get options for respawn, like the medical ship you brought, the nearest medical facility or your home location instead of only your last point you set your spawn to, that would be so much more convenient and would safe quite a lot of time when you switch between planets more often

If you start in Stanton and want to occasionally venture into Pyro, just set your spawn at the Stanton gateway when you exit the jump point. Problem solved.

I think it depends on what missions you're running. But Pyro is gonna be lawless as hell. Already had to deal with multiple grievers just blowing up my ship while I'm running a "kill the king" mission and had a couple people pull me out of quantum with a mantis and attack me. My friend I usually play with has a Cyclone he puts in his C1 that we'll use for transport but I'll bring a medi-pin or cutty red for us to spawn in in case we run into trouble. Having that medical med while you're out in the field is such a game changer. Also we bring extra gear just in case also since usually we wake up naked on the medical bed so extra guns, armor, multi-tools, etc., all that is a must have on the ship also when you're grinding Merc/Bounty missions.

Not to set your respawn to your ship is bad advice, because it sucks really bad when the game just kills you and you are stuck at the station because the elevators don't work. Since I use a respawn within my ship the game has become so much more playable and less frustrating...

Spawning in cities was never the problem for me. I like the immersion where I have to actually do things manually like shopping, look at the map guideline to find the place I need to go, going in a tram,... It make me feel like im living there. But the thing I really hate is that, all of the immersion above is under a unstable 30 fps no matter how trong your PC is. Plus, the NPCs are floating, t-posing, clipping, moving and stopping randomly, being very dull with weird dialogue,... Meanwhile starting location in a PvP zone like Pyro is super dumb. Players are allow to kill in safezones freely, just one meter out of your garage you will be instantly killed by some murderhobos, basically you can not even play in that zone. Overall, every starting location suks. You also gonna often die by some random bugs anyway, so it actually doesn't matter where you choose, your experience will be misserable one way or another

You should not be at risk of getting killed within a station regardless if it’s Pyro or not, there should be safe areas even within PvP zones.

This solves nothing. Extremely rich people are going to do it anyway. When you earn several millions with a sibygle trading run, who cares about 200k per bomb? And there's always a bigger gun. If you check any streamer right now, you will see that everyone is killing on sight. It's a constant in Pyro and peiple use the best ship available to do it. Right now they are using Polaris ships to destroy everything they can find in any given outpost, even without torpedoes. Should we ban or hinder capital ships, then? Where do you draw the line of too much firepower that has to be nerfed? I consider the F8C a menace, for example. It's way too much firepower in the hands of a single individual and iit can also destroy everything in an outpost, in just s few minutes. Should we need to nerf it?

Also a bit wild, but I think they should entirely remove Salvage contracts, so salvagers have to look for wrecks and abandoned ships to salvage instead of going to some random deep space location you'll never meet anyone anyways. For that additional effort and risk though, all salvaged material also should be way more valuable.

rearming/refueling should cost based off armament availability locally and what you have available in your hangar with a service cost if you dont do it yourself. I don't like their development and tuning away from skill and simulation gameplay since i started playing. let people have bad skill, and let them improve or lose against better skill or make a movie instead of a game.

i disagree with basicly everything in this video. it was a shit change, every other game that tries to balance by economy has proven it doesnt work. none of the infrastructure to suport a change like that is in the game. it would have been a terrible change, and worst of all it breaks customer trust if they nerf a thousand dollar ship right after it comes out. no one would feel confident buying one again.

Yup; just another case of CIG not playing their game. - Cant restock your ammo and systems separately - There is a bug where you store your Polaris properly, and it goes into Claim status, losing you 14M aUEC. I agree with no Bombs and missiles on claim, but now was not the time to implement it. 5:10 - Exactly. I'm all for the changes. With the buy cost so high, and the sell cost so low; I have a wide area to market salvage. I can just loot gun and torps, and sell them back for 40-60% of the buy cost. Now all we need are better tables and such so I can run a shop out of my hangar. 7:00 - Remove Armistice zones. Let my Reclaimer feed. And to Chris Roberts> No, we do not need to find a bottle left in a forest 2 weeks ago...It's already bad enough that it hangs out in the middle of the star and eats backend performance.

Torpedos : they should not have a lock. They should be flown by the person who flies it. More game play for the person who fires it. Or have that option for people that want to self guide them. Same for missiles if you want. They could be more stealthy because they are guided.

This makes a LOT of sense. Though I would say that it should be possible to have one torpedo operator steer two linked torpedos together at the same time since torpedos should be moving at a speed and have enough armor to be an interesting gameplay element. Letting the operator choose to double their chances at absorbing fire vs spending more armament would be smart.

I also believe before a change like this, PDS need to be adjusted. Currently they are WAY too powerful imo, and overwhelming fire (from multiple ships simultaneously) is the only way to defeat them. I'd like to see a limited ammo count on PDS.

However, the state of Star Citizen in alpha in year 13 is not anywhere good enough for such a step now. -Refueling/repairing/rearming still doesn’t work reliably, for how many years by now? More than 5 years, I think. Before 3.0, it always worked. -Most of the time, people are claiming ships because of bugs: ships explode without reason, storing ships often leads to ships going into claim, game crashes and after the crash ships are often in claim, etc. -CIG massively increased the price of missiles and torpedoes but only slightly increased mission pay out. If someone uses a torpedo in a mission, he is spending more money than the mission pays. -If a player has to claim a ship, uses it and only wants to restock ammunition for the ballistic guns and counter measures, he cannot. There is only one option to restock, this includes missiles/torpedoes which makes this very expensive. This can actually lead to a new player, who only owns one ship, not being able to play anymore. -Making missiles and torpedoes very expensive is not the right way to balance them. Good game mechanics are, working counter measures are, something CIG is still unable to do in year 13. -CIG sold missile boats to us, ships like Freelancer MIS, Talon Shrike and Firebird for example, but made it now almost impossible to use these, their primary weapons are too expensive. -Is this just the beginning? Soon ships come without ammunition for the guns, without guns, without fuel, not repaired when we claim them?
