darkiee69 Relax, it’s a joke. I own plenty of big lures that are often bigger than other species of fish that I target. I have also caught plenty of fish with aggressive territorial nature that hook up when they try to smash the lure to ‘go away’ it is very common to catch a 3” Australian bass on a 3” lure. I just had visions of someone hooking up a trout as it tries to spawn with the worlds most expensive lure if they threw it onto a gravel bed in spawning season.

Alex Ward with an 8ft rod and a damn near tuna jigging reel
@sentinelfishing20504 жыл бұрын
Alex Ward I’ve fished the 16” savage gear trout a bit. It scales in at 24 oz. It’s a bitch to cast but I found swinging it in river current to be good for big pike. Small lob into current and let line out so the river current carries it farther back into the pool. The 12” 12 oz.is more manageable for casting normally and does better for numbers so that’s what I opt for.
@sentinelfishing20504 жыл бұрын
Alex Ward the guys throwing the chaser and the mother are mostly using them to find fish. A large lure has a lot of drawing power and a bass will move as far as it is visible to check it out. As much as 50’ in a clear water reservoir. Though I’ll opt for cheaper baits for that technique. The overwhelming demand and resulting costs of Roman made baits is a bit much to stomach with my current financial situation. There’s cheaper glidebaits available. (and a cheaper version of the chaser coming)
