Hey Marshall! I have a suggestion you could have used for the tail :) It's similar to how you used the guitar. There was a video on youtube regarding the sound design for the weird whale spaceship in one of the Marvel Avengers movies. In that video they used a down tuned guitar with moderate distortion or overdrive and then hit the strings with a screwdriver. The metallic properties of the screwdriver helped form some really cool harmonics with the strings itself, also I'd like to point out that string gauges also play a big role in how 'thicc' your sound will be, as such, thicker gauges = thicker sound. Also running the sample through a granular synthesizer can give you interesting sounds too! I've used it in a couple of student projects and I was really pleased with the results :)

@galacticboy20095 жыл бұрын
Actually, there are sounds in space my dude, when it comes to explosions. Those explosions throw gas and particles in every direction, which would then hit the walls of the ship you're in, (as long as you aren't so far away that the gasses and particles don't reach you) which would then vibrate the air in your capsule, which you'd then hear. Sorry you just can't win at this xD
@whut92455 жыл бұрын
Particles hitting the ship you are in is not how sound is produced. Sound is produced by air particles contracting and condensing when pushed by particles of high kinetic energy. Particles hitting a ship in the mostly vacuum of space wouldn't produce any sound and the amount of particles hitting your ship wouldn't even have an effect due to how fast they displayed milliseconds after the explosion
@SeraphimFelis5 жыл бұрын
