Making 'The Tragedy of Macbeth' in Blender

This is a time-lapse at 1500% speed of me recreating one of my favorite shots from Joel Coen's 'The Tragedy of Macbeth', depicting the three witches played by Kathryn Hunter. I don't often try to recreate shots with people in them because they're hard to recreate in CG without spending tons of time, but this shot felt possible because of the statuesque nature of the poses. Using a weird system of draping layers of cloth over the bodies with cloth simulations, and then adding some imperfections to the models with sculpting brushes, I think I managed to capture some of the spirit of the original shot.

I did for all of the projects on my KZbin channel. Only upgraded to a desktop since the last video.

How many hours working times bro

Just looking at the video, I started working on it at around 10AM and finished at 3.30PM. I did have lunch in there at some point, so I'd say about 4 hours total, not including render times.

@@Guluvu No not at all. I'm pretty small-time. I'm a director too, and I'm currently editing a film I directed last month, so that's taking up most of my time these days!

@@bbrother92 To be honest, I know absolutely nothing about UE5, but I think you would still need Blender (or an equivalent software) to have a complete workflow there.
