1) Simple isn't mutually exclusive from difficult. For example, setting off explosives is very simple; light the 'fuse'. But using explosives to bring down buildings in a controlled way is very difficult. Thus, its simple, and difficult. 2) That was gently, compared to just pouring the liquids straight into each other, causing 'bubbling'/'foaming' like with oil and water, instead of in distinct layers. All these terms are relative, and thats the 'flaw' youre trying to make into a joke. Welcome to English, and language as a whole; its relative.

It's not any more complicated than carbon dioxide. It's just a compound word that describes what it is. Hexa is from the greek word for number 6. Methylene refers to the methyl groups in the molecule. Di is again just greek for number 2. Amine is just a certain kind of compound containing nitrogen. So you slap it all together and you get hexa-methylene-di-amine. Meaning that it's got 6 methyl groups and 2 amines. (Obligatory: not a chemist, so details may be off. But that's the rough idea either way) The only reason why it may seem difficult and complicated is because you aren't that familiar with the base words because you haven't been exposed to them. When you recognize the individual bits, you stop reading it as a single word, and rather see it as the compound word it is.

@@WorstCompany i don't know if every breed of fly are the same, but the Black soldier fly has the biggest maggot, and when mature they form some sort of black/dark blue outer shell. They are chubby, dry and they just kinda wiggle around . They are also very well behave so they aren't _the worst company_ to have around ever.
