Making Tracks for Model World LIVE - Waterman heads for 250ft of scenery!

Making Tracks: The Final Frontier is progressing towards its debut at Model World LIVE on April 27/28 2024 when this giant 208ft long layout will be presented with its new extensions for the first time.
Pete Waterman and the Railnuts are now heading for more than 250ft of scenery featuring three stations, tunnels, viaducts and more in THE most incredible OO gauge model of the West Coast Main Line ever created.
In this latest video we take you behind the scenes at Pete Waterman's workshop to see the latest progress on construction of Bushey Viaduct and station.

It's one aspect of the hobby they do well in North America: making something unique and scratch-built be the major focus of the layout and absolutely pouring their heart into it, even if it takes years. Kits and mass produced products can be great and all, but scratch-building is where the hobby really shines and inspires.

Pete and the team have really changed the hobby in so many ways and have been an inspiration to modellers and those wanting to get into the hobby. And when this is built it will be the largest model railway in Britain! A true sight to behold 😊😊
