These pearls look lovely. I would really like to try it. May I ask what kind of thread you used? I guess cotton thread? Nylon one would melt, wouldn't it?

Yes, any type of thread except nylon or polyester. I usually use rayon or metallic threads.

Beautiful beads! Two questions for you - did you use glue to secure the end of the Tyvek at the end of the rolling? Also, when you say you did some machine wrapped wire with beads - what kind of thread do you use? And I'm not exactly sure which stitch is best to do this - can you help me? Thanks!

Sorry not to have replied but I'm having issues with email notifications. No, I don't use glue and I machine wrap wire with any thread you can use on the machine. Just a free motion zigzag stitch
