@@EvanRockwell1 I believe they should reboot Mrs Doubtfire with a female lead. In that movie the actress should take up the disguise of an old man. With good prosthetic makeup and a nice story it would be a hit. Will also be a great homage to Robin Williams. Please suggest an actress who can play that role.

Maybe Brendan O'Carroll who is currently Mrs. Brown on the English comedy show Mrs.Brown's Boys. When I first saw this show I immediately thought of Mrs.Doubtfire as Robin was convincing as a woman & the characters are somewhat alike.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Williams, many of my fellow flight attendant friends had him on their flights over the years. They had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Most celebrities understandably prefer to keep a low profile because they value their rarely found privacy. But Mr. Williams evidently often times sat in the main cabin and would chat with kids and quote his movies for them. He always said “Please” and “Thank You” and at least once helped lighten the mood for everyone when a flight was delayed. Again, I never met him but when I learned of his passing, it truly felt like I had lost a friend. I find many other people share that same sentiment.

They shot a few scenes, literally, like 2 blocks away from where I was working at the time which was in North Beach, San Francisco. So I would watch them shoot some scenes while not knowing what or who I was watching. And when my friends asked who I saw I said, "Idk I just kept seeing some old lady!" Lol! I finally saw Robin out of wardrobe one day and waived to him;) The End.

@christyann
@christyann 2 жыл бұрын
@@thedude8009 It was actually 1 block and 2 blocks away because I watched them twice. It was nothing new really lots of filming goes on in San Francisco. They filmed a scene of The Net with Sandra Bullock in a building I was working in downtown, I was an extra in The Doors movie with Val Kilmer, and they used to shoot the TV show Nash Bridges all over South of Market so we ran in to Don Johnson and who ever else was in that show quite a bit. And there was a popular trail that lead down to a beach that was actually in the empty lot right next to Robin Williams house, super low-key. San Francisco used to be so cool now its a shit hole. Thanks for allowing me to reminisce.🙂

I really hope these special effect make-up artists get serious praise for all the time, effort and patience to put all these prosthetics on all these great actors. Eddie Murphy's make-up artists in Coming to America and the Nutty Professor movies too. I'm sure there's way more, but these two especially.

I wonder if Robin was an organ donor. If so, imagine the person trying to brag about it...

I had a heart attack in 2009 was dead for 2& a half minutes I saw heaven for real. Cuddled my dog & my cat who died earlier, my body was normal/I had no more physical disability was standing up etc & saw/talked to/hugged my best friends brother who killed himself when he was 17. The pastor of our church said he'd rot in hell because of suicide, but my mom said no he will be in heaven because God never misjudges he knows your heart. I wanted to believe her but it tormented me for years, I was SO glad he was ok/big relief! I'm sure Robin will be up there too & we will all hang out together when the time is right. Robin truly inspires me, incredible talent & a great heart! God bless him & his family xoxo
