Planning on modding to tubeless tires on a CRF250L. What are your thoughts on using that Flex Seal tape that's on tv and everywhere else? The alternative I'm considering is just getting the Warp 9 tubeless rims.

Just followed this procedure on my KTM 1190 rear wheel. Stopped the persistent leaking spoke! Only thing I wish was I'd actually measured the rim before assuming 2" tape would be wide enough (it wasn't quite enough to cover the spokes). Glad I found this tutorial - solved my problem for good.

My uncle was in a motorcycle accident recently and went to the hospital for two broken wrists and pelvis. He was in surgery for 10 hrs one day and about 3hrs the next. He got out of surgery and in recovery right now. He has at least 3 months before he can put any weight on his legs and he needs to learn how to walk again. Thanks for the good vibes

So a couple of problems trying this. 1) needed to drill out a larger hole to fit in the new valve stem. 2) the rim has little rubber plug that basically popped out when I put the tire up to pressure letting all the air out. Unsure what to do, trying to search for a rim plug to screw in so the air isn't all escaping.

One small problem those are new spokes they will stretch then you will have to tighten them up? Good idea do keep it up!

You can tighten the spokes up, that's another reason why I used sealant on top of the spokes. It will allow movement within the tape.

The 3m sealant will have a ample amount of flex, I use it for marine applications and it is incredible stuff

You can still tighten the spoke underneath the sealant, the sealant is what helps allow movement under the tape.

I would use 4200 instead on 5200 as it is more flexible and is semi removable if you ever want to take it off.

IT FLOWS INTO ALL THE SPOKE HOLES--PUT THE VALVE STEM IN FIRST--PUT TAPE OVER BACKSIDE OF VALVE STEM--{ SMALL DOT TYPE WORKS GREAT }--JUST DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE BEFORE INSTALLING TIRE---LESS THAN 22.00 $ , AND MUCH EASIER --IF IT LEAKS--MARK SPOT , DROP TIRE RE-APPLY !

What about when you adjust spokes? With my set up, it the spoke will just spin within the sealant under the extreme sealing tape.

if you must adjust your spokes all the time that is a good point--my WARP P 9'S have been on my 625 ktm for 3 years and they haven't moved one bit or gotten out of balance/round , my bike is rated at 53 hp stock , but i have an open akropovic exhaust , as well as i put on a mikuni pumper--i make no hp claims--but it only weighs 309 lbs and i bet near 60 hp--it is a little scary sometimes , so yes i am putting some horespower down .just what worked for me . also your a smart man for using a dampened hub--mine came with a dampened primary and hub---your trans is thanking you daily . rubber down bro .

You went a tad overboard with all the prepping. Using the 4412N without all the prep and sealant works just fine as long as there are no air bubbles and he tape doesn’t overlap over a spoke nipple.. Been running it on my DRZ for months now.

I don't see how the air bubbles would make a difference, they are trapped in the tape seal. We'll see though. I hated doing this work, the tape is not easy to work with, once it sticks it's stuck for good.

Hey you can do the beads for the weights. 1oz goes in the front and 2 oz in there rear. Crazy easy. Anyways give me a shout out sometime! I think I want to start motovolgging for build/repair and maintainence stuff. Soon I will start that

Are you sure it's a 7ah battery or is that just by number. The F800gs has a ytx14 (12ah) a motobatt lipo is 5ah. A motobatt AGM is 14ah with spacer or 16.5ah without a spacer
