Thank you for this video. Can you use the same crimping tool for all of the fittings for a particular cable size? I.e., if you were terminating 3/16 wire rope, would the same crimper work for oval sleeves as well as the stop sleeves or balls? Does the crimper for aluminum sleeves also work with copper and stainless steel sleeves?

How would You repair a stationary swager's joints/hinge? If the rear curved arms connection hole has been filed down from loose fitting Bolt? Very good tutorial! Easy to understand!

Otto, If you are using something similar to the crimping tool in this video then, unfortunately we don't think that part can be repaired. You may be able to find a replacement jaw, but manual units are fairly inexpensive and easy to find. We sell them for $55.45. I did a quick look around for parts but came up empty. Please let us know if you find a solution. Thanks for the comment on the video, we appreciate it.

I have a piece of exercise equipment that has a threaded bolt with a stop after it. The cable is fed through the bolt which attaches to a sliding weight stack. The stop looks like what is shown in the video at 00:51. I bought a swaging tool and a stop at lowes today, but I'm afraid to try it and mess it up. Any advice? I have pictures I could send if it helps.

i have a 1/16 wire. Can i just smash the loop sleeve with a hammer. I don't have the cramping tool.
@BeRae128 ай бұрын
Yep, because everybody has a machine to compress a ball sleeve. I was looking for a video that showed how I could put one on. Oh well
