I know it's a bit old, found the LN last year but it was barely translated so never finished it. Just saying, everyone says this is the song in episode 2. Hell, even the credits do.

Conastel It's just an edited version of the same song.... Of coirse they won't use the "exact same track". It is, ostensibly at least, the same same piece... just heavily modified for that scene. Besides, the whole point was to show off Lacia, not the song.

its common to find japanese Dj in general uses the same synthesizer which is used in this song. Most of them does independent music on Nico or KZbin have the same vibes to this music. Someone like Tofu Beats would be your best bet. can't really tell you the genre though, I would say it belongs to a wide mix of funk, breakbeat, acid jazz, UK garage, progressive house, and neo-soul. They're inspired by late 90's and early 2000 beats. Games like ridge racer on the PSONE have the same vibes also
