I believe you can swap the fences to opposite sides for when you are doing 45° cuts and still need something to lean the stock against

Looking at buying this or the Festool Kapex 120. Only downside is the kapex is corded and the KS60 is too small. What you think?I do mainly kitchens and mainlhy the odd bit of second fix work so needs to be a spot on saw.

Firstly thanks for the comment dude, I really appreciate it. Like you I do a lot of kitchen fitting and that’s what made me go for this saw, I want something that can cut the over sized cornice with no issue and to be honest this is the saw for that ! It’s a great bit of kit, I had the ks60 and that’s what this is replacing, I looked at the 120 but it’s the price ! This is a bang on saw once you get it dialled in, like I said in the video mine was out of square when I got it but it good to go now

Hi there, if you were to place a piece of plywood (say 12mm thick), how long would the length of the cut be at 0°?
@LTWCarpentry

Hi buddy, around 370mm buddy

Great video and helping me in my decision to buy one, anyone know what the height is in the closed position? I need to fit this in some racking when not in use and think it may be too tall but can't find this info, I wonder if you could also bevel in the closed position to reduce the stowed height? Also what are the hole centres on the stand fixing points, I have a Bosch stand currently and would like to check compatibility.

Great video and covers all the good and bad points. I’m a keen diner and about to do a house refurb. This saw may be a bit more than I need - which is the smaller version? Cheers.

Yes I would say this saw I overkill for 90% of people, makita do many smaller size saws that do the job something like the LS0815FLN would be a good option

Why 36v rather than the mains power version?
@LTWCarpentry

A lot of times I’m on sites where there is now power, I used to run a small generator to power tools but that’s nosey and messy, myself and most tradesmen are going over to cordless for convenience mate, plus having cables running all over the place on jobs it’s a pain
