Two bolts that just screw through the holes in the light base. Very simple. I don’t do them up tight so I can take it off without a spanner

i think Makita missed a trick as it would be good if this could charge batteries while connected to the mains?

I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the heat from the light when it’s on full power as this would possibly be too hot for batteries to charge, as charges generally have a fan to call the batteries down whilst charging and they’re also not in cased
