Hi Carl, I use a combination of 3Ah 4Ah 5Ah. I’ve got about 6 or 7 batteries because all my gear is Makita. I would always recommend getting the larger ones. But I get 3 or 4 mixes out of 3Ah but I would recommend getting a 5Ah.

Hi Antony my mixer turned up today and the paddle but how did you get your paddle to stay in the mixer as the mixer is a threaded end paddle (ox) is just a like 50p shape
@AnthonyParryPlastering2 жыл бұрын
You’ll have to get a paddle with a m14 fixing. or get a M14 to Electric Drill Chuck Adapter so you can use the hex end. Have you got a Mixm8 then?
@philstation3352 жыл бұрын
Yea 🙄🙄 ordered wrong one lol got it in thou with a tight fit but prob get the adapter to be on safe side

How long do the batteries last for...How many mixes 👍
@AnthonyParryPlastering3 жыл бұрын
It depends I guess. But it all depends how quick you mix and the size of the battery. I use 3ah and 4ah and I don’t feel like I’m changing them much. I don’t tend to watch how many batteries I get throu but I’ll keep more of an eye out and let you know.

How do you connect your mix m8 to this drill as the mix m8 doesn't have a threaded end??
@AnthonyParryPlastering3 жыл бұрын
You can get the Mixm8 with a M14 threaded end. That’s the one I’ve got

I purchased 1 off the mixers I'm mixing a about 25 bags a week Lasted me a back 4 weeks not good
@stevengordon2145 Жыл бұрын
You can clearly see that the mixer ain't got the guts to knock up 2-3-4 bags gauges...its more for smaller size domestic jobs. Stick with Metabo,DeWalt, Refina mixers bud It's not to say it's crap...just a good old case of horses for courses. 🥃

whats it like under constant strain from drywall pal?
@AnthonyParryPlastering3 жыл бұрын
Hi Darren, I’ve had no strain with it. I’ve mixed plenty of drywall. I’ve mixed sand cement, k-rend loads of bonding and skim and I’ve had no problems with it. I’ve been using it constantly for almost a year now.

@@jasonrichardson7762 hey bud I ordered it at my local merchants but you can get them from the internet easy enough. I think the mixers about £230-£250 but then you’ll need a paddle and you’ll need batteries and then you’ll need a charger. Ive been using makita fir a long time already so I had batteries so that why I went for it. But I think it’s a great peace of kit.
