After owning this for 3 years now I'm never going back to 2 stroke which was pain in ass. 4 stroke starts with 1 or 2 pulls every time, have done little lawn care services and it never let me down. Not the most powerful but I don't really care as long as it's reliable

It might be worth looking at the 36v Makita Brushcutter, i now use my 4 stroke as a backup. I use my 36v brushcutter with 5ah batteries and get a good 20-30 minute runtime using speed 3.

Just got myself a Makita 36v brushcutter. It's an awesome bit of kit.

does this cut thick brush - like over overgrown weeds, thick nettles, bramble. thinking of buying one. only concern is the power. very small engine. also have you tried attachments on this like chainsaw, hegde trimmer? can you kindly do a video cutting overgrown weeds, thick nettles, bramble? thanks

Get a 50cc version as it can cut brambles and thick grass. Wont be any more videos on the strimmer though.

Guess

My guess is Germany, since Makita bought Dolmar and rebranded their engines.

@@fiveminuteman well darn, china is the main country-of-origin I try to avoid. Hopefully the engine is made in Germany. All of my power and lawn tools are Makita cordless. I really like the 4 stroke trimmer performance in the videos I’ve seen. I’m strongly considering a 4 stroke for next year’s trimming. Either the Makita or Husqvarna 324L with the Honda engine.
