DJV180Z is skin only. It's sold as the DJV180 when it has a battery (and charger) included.

Im interested in how powerful (or not) this is? Its only 300w, but the specs say it can cut up to ~135mm timber. Im debating whether to buy this, or a corded 500-700w jigsaw so it has more power to be able to cut hardwood, however, most corded jigsaws don't cut thicker than 85mm timber.

Hi, I haven’t really pushed the limits of this saw size wise. I never really think to use this on big stuff because when turning corners with jigsaws the blade often doesn’t stay very straight in thick timber. I’ve never been worried about the power but as I said, I haven’t really pushed it too hard!

@@Isaacbuildsthings fair enough. I've used a 500w Bosch corded jigsaw (PST800) and found it lacked power and stability, so im thinking this might not have enough juice to be versatile, and is more for a home handyman, not for professional use...
