RPM on regular mitre saws is too high for using carbide metal cutting blades usually is it not?

YES this blade is Max RPM 3000 that LS1013 is proably running 3500 ish maybe little less but its max is 3700 so you are playing with fire. That said they do make blades that can handle the higher RPM they just typicaly under 10"
