I use to work like this in one of the mnc in chennai pallavaram when i was younger , my GM was from the same group who use to exploit us like anything forcing us to work on Saturdays and Sundays, luckily i got job in UAE and now currently working in an American company which has a lot of employee based benefits.

L&T is paying Rs.51 crores to this man apart from perquisites. So he can afford to employ 20 servants to take care of his family and can sit in office for 90 hours, enjoying office AC and other comforts. Lower level staff with megre salary will have to take care of their family themselves. So if an employee is to spent 90 hours in work place, who will take care of his family children's education etc., Staring at one's wife is a very personal matter. L&T chairman is indecent to make such a comment.

It is evident that our so-called leaders are uninterested in training our human resources to meet the demands of the industry, instead arguing for longer working hours with fewer employees. If we look at the story of Alibaba and Jackma, who advocates for extended working hours, and how Xi Jinping screwed that bully who exploited his employees rather than the company. Now we can see the true transformation of a firm and its emphasis.
