Boleh bagi cadangan tempat melabur terbaik, saya mahu tambah pelaburan untuk persaraan..RM 500 setiap bulan selama 20 tahun. Target saya RM 1 juta ++ bila saya bersara nanti, bila bersara saya mahu gunakan dividen untuk meneruskan hidup. Contoh RM 1 juta × 5% = RM 60k ÷ 12 bulan = RM 5k sebulan..

Tempat terbaik adalah s&p500. Boleh cuba ticker:VOO. Tapi kalau peka isu withholding tax USA, then boleh cuba ireland domiciled ticker:VUAA Cubalah tanya broker local mana yang ada beri 2 ticker tersebut. Memang ada. Tapi kalau tak jumpa jugak, then kena guna broker luar negara seperti IBKR atau TOS.

I can... but it's a very simple topic though. Not sure if it should get a whole video for it. I don't think I can even fill up 2 mins haha. Maybe I'll make a shorts. But to answer your question quickly: You can simply just ask any local broker. Most of them have access to the overseas markets. But based on experience the brokerage price is quite high and the platforms provided are quite bad. The other way is to go through IBKR or TOS. But... these 2 brokers have been blacklisted by BNM for reasons unknown. So funding these brokers will have additional steps.

@@timetravelerbysec you will have to shop around for brokers. Some charge a flat rate and some by %. Unfortunately I haven't been keeping tabs. It's not too difficult to find out.

can we do dca with different amount? let say i have 10k and i want to dca 1k by monthly for 10months. what if i want to add in that 1k to 1.3k and then next month 700 then another month 1k again? will this work as normal dca?

If the gap in values that you put in is too large, there's a risk of buying too little when prices are low, and buying too much when prices are high. It's very important that you buy more when prices are low, and less when prices are high so that you get a good average. But investing even a bit is better than nothing. So try to plan out your DCA. You only need to put in money 2-4 times a year.
