Maybe it's my age, but I don't feel a bit guilty about taking time for myself or saying "no". I could care less if others don't like it, approve it, understand it. I answer to myself, no one else. Are they going to be there when I am burnt out, fried, snapping off, breaking down? No....so, I put myself first, because what I've learned in life is that no one else really will, when it's all said and done. We are responsible for our self-care and ultimately, for our own happiness. Get over the guilt. It's a wasted emotion.
